Objective: To analyze the factors affecting teacher burnout at the teacher and school levels.Methods: Using the Chinese Primary and Secondary School Teachers' Job Burnout Questionnaire,the Delaware School Climate Scale-Teacher/Staff,and the Delaware Disciplinary Techniques Scale-Teacher to survey 1,619 teachers in 65 schools across the China,It analyzed the influencing factors of teachers' job burnout at school and individual levels,and compared the differences in teachers' job burnout in demographic variablesResults:(1)In the demographic variables of teachers' individual level,male are significantly higher than female in the total scores of teachers' job burnout and emotional exhaustion and depersonalization.There is no significant difference in teachers' job burnout between junior high school and high school teachers;Different professional titles have significant differences in the dimensions of emotional exhaustion and personal accomplishment.In the dimension of emotional exhaustion,the scores of the third-level teachers are the lowest,and the scores of the first-level teachers are the highest.In the dimension of personal achievement,with the increase of professional titles,the scores of personal accomplishment are higher.The class teacher is significantly higher than the average teacher in teacher burnout and its three dimensions.Emotional exhaustion and personal achievement scores increase with teaching experience.Different monthly income levels are significantly different in the three dimensions of teachers' job burnout.(2)At the demographic variables of school level,in addition to the personal accomplishment dimension of urban teachers was significantly higher than rural teachers,other variables were not significantly different.(3)Teachers' job burnout was significantly negatively correlated with the school climate.It was significantly negatively correlated with the positive management and social emotional learning in the teacher classroom management method,and was significantly positively correlated with the negative management method.(4)The multilevel analysis of teacher burnout shows that the impact of inter-school differences on teachers' job burnout accounts for 13.3%.(5)Teachers' negative management methods are predicting teachers' job burnout,and teachers who tend to use negative management methods such as punishment have higher levels of burnout.(6)The higher the score of the school climate,the lower the teacher's job burnout.Conclusion: This study finds that teachers' negative management methods and campus atmosphere are important factors influencing teachers' job burnout,and have guiding significance in intervening teachers' job burnout.
