A Research Of International Students' Cross-cultural Social Network

As the further expansion of national level of reform and opening up,the national "neighbourhood" policy to promote the implementation and continuous increase of China's higher education level,more and more students choose to study in China,as a destination,every year there are a large number of foreign students to China to study for a degree or learning a language.After arriving in China,a large number of international students face the task of social adaptation and reconstruction of social networks.Firstly,this paper gives a brief review of the social adaptation of international students in China,and the concept of social network is introduced.Using the quantitative analysis method,the paper investigated the basic situation of foreign students do first descriptive statistics,based on the influential factors by the foreign student's social network analysis,trying to find out to influence students to construct the main factors of cross-cultural social network.Using the nominating method in measurement techniques,the respondents were asked to nominate five people who had contacted or discussed important issues in the last nine months.Firstly,the scale of social network of foreign students in China is closely related to the demographic characteristics of students' gender and source type.Second,the leading social network made up of international students and Chinese friends in the students' cross-cultural social network proportion is very small,in the foreign students' cross-cultural social intercourse situation remains to be improved.Thirdly,the intensity of the relationship between the students and the nominee will gradually decrease as the nomination sequence goes backward.Fourth,the social network of students coming to China is composed of various roles,and the intimate relationship is the most important relationship in its social network.The fifth,the scale of foreign students in the interpersonal relations of internal mutual influences,namely the number of their friends and the number of students and the number of Chinese friends,there is a mutual influence.
