The Research On The Social Support On The Influence Of The International Postgraduate Student In China Cross-cultural Adaptation

With the improvement of China’s economic strength and international status,China has gradually become the preferred country of foreign students who plan to study abroad,and there are more and more foreign students in China,therefore,the foreign students’ cross-cultural adaptation condition and the demand of the social integration is now we need to discuss and solve.Study in the Tianjin university of technology postgraduate student as the research object in this article,through questionnaire investigation and interview method to study the status of students’ cross-cultural adaption,on this basis to explore the relationship between social support and cross-cultural adaptation in the graduate student,aims to study on the influence of different types of social support for international students cross-cultural adaption.The results showed that there was a significant positive correlation between social support and cross-cultural adaptation,the more social support the individual has,its cross-cultural adaptation degree,the better,at the same time also showed that the most effective means to improve the graduate students intercultural adaptation is to strengthen the students’ objective support.This paper mainly includes five parts,the first chapter Introduction,this paper briefly introduces the research background and significance,and the existing research results of the literature were reviewed.The second chapter Research Design,this study mainly involves defining the relevant concepts and theories,and then determine the research tools,samples;Chapter 3 is the status and different analysis of the students who coming to China to study,to processing the information from the process of collection of the questionnaire and the interview about students’ cross-cultural adaption,and make the difference analysis of the results.The forth Social Support on the Influence of the International Postgraduate Student in China Cross-cultural Adaptation,make the difference analysis of the social support first,then using SPSS software on the relationship between social support and cross-cultural adaptation to do research,explore the relationship and the degree of influence between the two assumptions.Chapter 5 Suggestions on improve the graduated students’ cross-cultural adaptation,for graduate students in how to promote cross-cultural adaptation level,from the perspective of social support is put forward corresponding countermeasures and Suggestions.
