As the intensify aging,the age of the single child of 90 s generation is growing,and the number of empty-nest elderly has increased.The nursing homes become an important part of people when they choose to pension.Therefore,there is a sharp contrast between the short supply of nursing staff in the nursing homes,and high mobility of nursing staffs.This article takes nursing staffs in a nursing home in Nanjing as an example.Based on the current social hot topic---pension,using participatory observation method is used to describe the stresses and challenges faced by nursing staff in nursing homes at this stage,and to provide services through individual casework,ease the stress of the nursing staffs.In this study,the research object---the nursing staffs,was divided into two kinds: old and new nursing staffs.Observing and researching on the current situations of the stress of different types of nursing staffs,ease the stress problems through individual casework.Through interventions at the front line,investigating the pressures and job challenges faced by the nursing staffs in nursing home,declare the changes after the intervention,and reflecting the advantages individual casework intervenes.There are three main findings.First,the speaker appears complex and multiple stresses and problems.The types of stresses faced by different types of nursing staffs that can be allocated according to different employment years,thus,the stresses that nursing staffs felt would be complex by different reasons,such as public opinions,family supports,and career developments.Next,most customers do not correct realized the problems of stresses.It is a powerful“external factor”for customers through professional interventions,it will stimulate customers awareness.Finally,through the research of interventions,the nursing staffs are becoming positive when they faced with the stresses.They are willing to change from negative emotions to positive emotions to seeking for assistants or trying to solve the problems.By defining the types of stresses of the nursing staffs group,a model classification is created for the follow-up nursing staffs stresses considerations and interventions,and an effective assessment of the intervention's effectiveness is consolidated.In addition,changes in nursing staffs attitudes and behaviors are conducive to maintaining work enthusiasm and better serving the elderly.
