The whole book reading is specifically required in Chinese curriculum criterion,and thus becomes a hot topic of today's Chinese language education.The whole book reading is a group of tasks which run through three stages including obligatory courses,selective obligatory courses and optional courses.Under the current educational environment,it has become an inseparable part of Chinese language education.How to find the living space of the whole book reading in the cracks of ordinary high school teaching? How to help students get experience and methods of the whole book reading? It is indeed a test of the wisdom of the frontline language teachers.According to the requirements of Chinese language curriculum standards,combined with my frontline teaching experience and lessons for many years,the author defines the relevant concepts of the whole book reading in the thesis.Based on this,the characteristics of the whole book reading teaching are summarized,and then the current situation of the whole book reading teaching in senior high school is investigated and analyzed.The author discovered the problems of the whole reading teaching in senior high school,raising some questions such as how to build curriculum of the whole book reading and how to teach the whole book reading.In view of the whole book reading teaching practice,this thesis suggests that we should grasp the stylistic features and conduct targeted guidance,and we should also promote the whole book reading teaching by way of learning task group.Finally,we seek a task driven reading teaching mode for different books in high school.The teaching model of "initial reading discrimination ? re-reading of text ? fixed point careful reading ? path reading ? comparison and display" is formed for literary texts.The teaching model of "information integration ? appreciation ? understanding and interpretation ? learning to use" is formed for practical text.The teaching model of "abbreviation reconstruction ? in-depth integration ? dialogue criticism ? reading of evidence ? discovery application" is formed for discussion text..In addition,this paper attempts to construct a series of "whole book reading" courses,including the introduction of the initiation course,the process guidance course,the promotion of discussion course and the sharing of results course,focusing on the design of activities and on the introduction strategy,process guidance strategy and promotion strategy,and the construction of the results sharing model.The aim is to provide students with hierarchical guidance for the development of reading ability through a systematic and continuous teaching process,and then the goal of the whole book reading is put into practice.
