The teaching of "whole book reading" refers to the process of dialogue with the author,the text,the teacher and the peer,which is based on the whole book and supported by certain reading methods and reading strategies."Whole book reading" is the essence of traditional education.Ye Shengtao and others have vigorously advocated the concept of "whole book reading",which has appeared in the Chinese curriculum standards for many times,until the "whole book reading and discussion" in the Chinese curriculum standards for senior high schools(2017 Edition)in 2017 reappeared as an independent learning task group,and the latest Chinese textbooks have also been designed It can be seen that the whole book reading has been paid more attention by the society and scholars.Firstly,this paper analyzes the current research situation of "whole book reading" at home and abroad;secondly,it investigates the current situation of students' whole book reading in s middle school and whether the school implements the task group of "whole book reading and discussion",analyzes the existing problems and the causes of the problems,and helps the author by analyzing the existing problems in s middle school and finding the causes Later in s middle school to carry out the whole book of the Analects of Confucius reading and discussion of teaching work to avoid existing problems,better teaching work;finally,the author will own in s middle school to carry out the whole book of the Analects of Confucius reading teaching results show,the effective part for reference and reflection on the shortcomings.This paper consists of five parts: the introduction part introduces the origin and significance of the author's research,the existing relevant research theories and the research methods adopted by the author in this paper.The second part is to investigate the current situation of "reading and discussion of the whole book" in s middle school,and analyze the research results.The third part is the teaching design of reading and discussing the whole book of Analects in class y of s middle school,including the reasons for choosing Analects as the teaching content,the arrangement of class hours,the guiding methods,etc.The fourth part is the whole book "Analects" reading and discussion in class y of s middle school.The fifth part is to show the effect of reading and discussing the whole book of Analects of Confucius in class y of s middle school and to reflect on the lack of teaching.
