The teaching implementation of “Whole Book Reading and Discussion ”of From the Soil-The Foundation of Chinese Societyhas leading and directive significance to carry out and complete the whole book reading task of academic works for high school.And the reading length and depth of academic works determine that the reading and discussion activities of the whole book must be carried out in a purposeful and orderly way around the reading task.At present,the whole book reading task of From the Soil-The Foundation of Chinese Society has the shortages of disorientation,single type and uneven difficulties.The article would study the academic features of the whole book of From the Soil-The Foundation of Chinese Society,analyze the original academic value and cultural value of the curriculum,clarify the whole book reading task as well as reading content and construct a relatively complete reading task system,which are beneficial to solve the main problems existing in the current teaching situation of From the Soil-The Foundation of Chinese Society and provide teaching routes and references for senior high Chinese teachersto implement the whole book reading task effectively.The thesis is mainly divided into three parts.For the first part,it analyses the whole book of From the Soil-The Foundation of Chinese Society from textbook type,content structure and academic review.It helps to clarify the basic content and overall framework,evaluate the academic contribution and limitation of theory and elaborate the original value of reading From the Soil-The Foundation of Chinese Society,which provides a theoretical basis for the construction of reading task system.For the second part,it elaborates the academic value and cultural value for reading the book of From the Soil-The Foundation of Chinese Society in the range of study task group of “Whole Book Reading and Discussion”.It defines the teaching objectives of reading from three levels including reading and method,language and thought,culture and spirit,which provides supports for the construction of reading task system.For the last part,it discusses the whole book reading task of From the Soil-The Foundation of Chinese Society from four aspects: understanding of reading task section,current situation of teaching implementation,teaching problems for implementation and reconstruction of reading task system.Through the analysis of teaching material,it firstly clarifies the teaching content and the framework of reading task in From the Soil-The Foundation of Chinese Society.Through the classroom observation and interview,it further analyses the implementation of whole reading tasks as well as teaching problems during the implementation of From the Soil-The Foundation of Chinese Society.Finally,it reconstructs the reading task system from the aspects of method,operation,expansionand evaluation to promote the effective implementation of the whole book reading task of From the Soil-The Foundation of Chinese Society.
