The dominant role of moral education must be realized in the process of the physical and mental development of middle school students.At present,the overall moral tendency of middle school students is positive.However,with the rapid development of economy and social transformation,various social trends of thought collide with each other,and all kinds of unhealthy social ethos are infiltrating into the daily life of middle school students.In addition,educators do not attach enough importance to moral education in middle schools,and middle school students are not well self-disciplined,which makes the moral education in middle schools seem a long way to go.Therefore,it is very important to seek problems and explore causes and put forward solutions in the process of moral education.According to the field study,this paper analyses the current situation in the process of moral education in middle schools.And this paper mainly discusses the problems encountered in the process of moral education in middle schools,including insufficient practical education,boring content of education,poor educational strategies and conservative education standards.By analyzing the problems in moral education in middle schools,we conclude the reasons behind the problems from the perspectives of society,school,family and individual.Socially,the Internet and bad social atmosphere exert negative influence on middle school students.In schools,the traditional ideology of exam-oriented education is deep-rooted;moral education methods are rigid and backward;moral education contents are separated from reality;moral education evaluation is over subjective and individual teachers' moral quality is far from satisfactory.Family reasons include parents neglect moral education on children,parents fail to set a good example,excellent traditional family morality is in crisis and family education mode is unreasonable.The personal reasons include the less maturation of individual mind and the inadequate sense of social responsibility.The moral quality of the middle school students is related to the promising developments of the whole nation.Therefore,it is necessary to take practical measures in view of the severe situation of moral education in middle schools.As far as society is concerned,efforts should be made to create a good social atmosphere and carry forward the excellent moral publicity;schools should work on moral education innovation,perfect teaching content,change the moral education methods,and improve moral education evaluation system and encourage the exemplary role in ethics of teachers.The way of family education must be changed.It is necessary to establish a democratic and equal family relationship and to establish a cooperative mechanism between family and school.Individuals should adopt positive learning attitude and raise the sense of social responsibility.Moral education in middle schools is closely related to the long-term development of our educational undertakings,and it must be given priority to development.It is very necessary for us to make in-depth analysis of the problem of moral education in middle school,to find out the crux of the problem,to take reasonable measures to effectively improve the moral education of middle school,to guide students to establish the correct moral values,cultivate good moral quality and improve the moral quality of the whole nation.
