As the weakest part of Chinese education,rural education has always been widely concerned by all walks of life.Due to the uneven distribution of urban and rural educational resources and the large difference in education,between rural and urban areas,many rural parents choose to help their children receive education in cities and accompany the children study in the city.This has become a new trend in rural education.There is only one middle school available in my research area and it is short of educational resources.Therefore,facing the big education gap in resources and the adjustment of educational system,parents have no choice but to accompany their children to study in cities.The research makes a case study on the parent-accompanied study in the rural middle school of village X,city W in Shaanxi province.Based on literature review,questionnaire survey and interviews,the paper studies the phenomenon from the perspective of sociology,reveals the reality of parent-accompanies study in the village X,city W in Shaanxi province by using the theories of socialization,rational choice and investment of human capital.The causes and effects of this phenomenon are analyzed.Finally,corresponding countermeasures to the above problems are put forward.The study is divided into the following parts.The first part introduces the research background of parent-accompanied study in the rural middle school,the key points and the significance of the study,and reviews the literature of the study on the phenomenon at home and introduces the research methods in the paper.The second part focuses on the investigation of parent-accompanied study in is mainly in village X,city W of Shaanxi Province from the aspects of parents and students,with emphasis on the side of parents.The third part further expounds the advantages and disadvantages of parents-accompanied study in village X of City W,Shaanxi province.The dual nature of things tells us that we should learn to avoid disadvantages,and that is the best choice.The fourth part analyzes the reasons for the phenomenon of parent-accompanied study,including influencing factors of system,society,schools and students.The fifth part puts forward some countermeasures for the phenomenon from the perspectives of government,society,parents and students themselves.
