The number of college graduates in China is expected to reach 8.2million in 2018,another record high.Upon graduation,college students generally feel nervous and anxious about finding a job.Vocational selection anxiety refers to a kind of nervous and uneasy emotional experience,which is usually intense and persistent.The purpose of this study is to explore the influence of vocational selection anxiety on job-seeking behavior,using qualitative research methods.The research process starts from systematically sorting out the research status of domestic and foreign vocational selection anxiety,compiling the interview outline by ourselves,starting from qualitative interview,using the grounded theory method and case study method to explore the influence of college graduates' vocational selection anxiety on their job-choosing behavior,and putting forward education suggestions and measures for college graduates to face the vocational selection anxiety.This research through the 50 college graduates,including 10 higher vocational graduates,20 undergraduate,20 master degree graduates,after coding analysis,it is concluded that 121 meaning units and 12 concept words,They are the confusion and blindness of choice,the determination of goals,the preparation in advance,the transformation into motivation,the promotion of learning,the active preparation for exams,the ability to resist pressure,the decline in efficiency,the seizing of time,the attention to information,the loss of what to do,and the fear of trying.Finally,it is divided into two core categories,positive and negative effects.The main conclusion of this study is that vocational selection anxiety has both positive and negative effects on college graduates.Positive impact can be divided into setting goals,preparing ahead of time,transforming into motivation,promoting learning,actively preparing for exams,resisting pressure,seizing time and paying attention to information.Negative effects include confusion and blindness of choice,the decline in efficiency,the loss of what to do,the fear of trying.
