After more than 10 years' development,the independent colleges have basically completed the historical task of "beneficial supplement to higher education",but what follows is a new proposition of how the independent colleges adapt to the current social development needs and meets the enterprise development needs.In this regard,the ministry of education promulgated the "measures for the establishment and management of independent colleges" in 2008,which provided the way out for the future development of independent colleges,including inspection and acceptance,the transfer to ordinary private colleges,and the termination of running schools.As one of the important programs,the transfer not only reflects the value orientation of national macro policies,but also meets the development needs of independent colleges.However,as the establishment of independent colleges is an innovative measure for the development of private education,so many uncertainties make independent colleges anxious and even fearful for the development after the establishment.In addition,the independent colleges are still in the process of exploration for the subsequent development and system design of independent colleges.The key to the success of the transfer lies in the ability to get rid of the talent training mode which is assimilated with the original parent university and create an application-oriented university with its own characteristics according to its own conditions and market demands.In particular,as a big province of education,hubei province has many independent colleges.How to find their own development path in the fierce market competition and achieve sustainable development,all independent colleges are trying to find solutions.In this paper,practically,part of hubei province has shifted to buy the set of independent college visit investigation,and list of the independent college turn after development present situation and problems,such as professional set convergence,management authority is too large,the teachers troop unstable,and the existing problems were summarized,analyzed the causes of problems,at the same time to formulate the corresponding strategic measures,operable,take the path of differentiation,branding,quality development,to turn a independent college to realize sustainable development to provide the reference.
