The Path Of The Private Colleges Professional Master Graduate Student Education And Development Strategy

In2011August, The Ministry of Education issued《Regarding the development ofPersonnel training projects for the special needs of the national—the notice of thebachelor-degree awarding units start to develop professional degree-postgraduateeducation》.In order to fulfill the demand of high-level personnel of the special industry inour country, alleviate the situation that traditional cultivate units can not fulfill the demandof cultivation,by the principle of “required,better,urgent,signaficant”,The Ministry ofEducation arranged some of colleges and universities which have high quality ofeducation and distinguishing feature to develop professional degree-postgraduateeducation in a certain period of time. In the list of the colleges and universities issued byAcademic Degrees Committee of the State Council,5Private Colleges and universitieswere selected. This indicated that after30years’ development and growth,privatecolleges and universities had entered the sequence of high-end talentcultivation,meaning that our country had broken down the situation that publicuniversities and research institutes monopolized graduate education. Private Collegesand universities are not limited to organizing undergraduate education any more.It candevelop professional degree-postgraduate education.This action has aroused widespread influence in society and encouraged privatecolleges and universities. This article summarizes the development experiences andchallenges of graduate education in China, and points out the structure optimization ofour professional degree-postgraduate education need the participation of privatecolleges and universities.This article demonstrated the feasibility and necessity of privatecolleges and universities developing professional degree-postgraduate educationcombined with the investigations from the perspectives of discipline construction,scientific research, cooperative of industry-university-research about5private collegesand universities which applied to developing professional degree-postgraduateeducation successfully. The author try to propose the way and development strategies ofprofessional degree-postgraduate education for Private Colleges and universities.
