International Cooperation Of Higher Education Between Gansu And Central Asia Under The Belt And Road Initiative

The "One Belt And One Road" initiative has become the core strategy of our country to promote the opening-up and display the great power atmosphere in the new era,and has created a new concept for the globalizing process of world economy,society and culture.The framework of "One Belt And One Road" initiative puts forward new and higher requirements for promoting international cooperation and exchanges in higher education.Under the framework of " One Belt And One Road " initiative,in order to construct the Education Community,analyzing higher education present situation,problems and prospects of cooperation between China and neighboring countries,will be no doubt having vital significance and value for further advancing our country transnational higher education cooperation,promoting the quality of personnel training and international level.This study focuses on Gansu province,located in the golden section of the silk road economic belt,and analyzes its experience,existing problems and development prospect in the process of higher education cooperation with central Asian countries from the provincial and school levels.The research adopts methods such as literature research and case study,including interview research,etc.At the school level,two universities L and X in the province are further selected for in-depth investigation.This paper mainly consists of four parts: the first chapter,on the basis of summarizing and analyzing the existing literature of "One Belt And One Road",clarifies the research significance,problems,objectives,methods and ideas of this paper.The second chapter describes the origin of China's international cooperation in higher education,and analyzes the effectiveness and problems of China's international cooperation in higher education under the background of "One Belt And One Road" strategy.The third chapter describes the background of higher education cooperation between Gansu province and central Asia,and analyzes the current situation of cooperation in the establishment of cooperative network,the promotion of Chinese language internationally and the cultivation of talents.The fourth chapter,based on the case of the cooperation projects carried out by L and X universities,investigates the leaders,teachers and students,and analyzes the progress,advantages and problems of the higher education cooperation between Gansu and Central Asian countries.The fifth chapter puts forward corresponding suggestions on the win-win cooperation of higher education between Gansu province and central Asia under the background of "One Belt And One Road" from the perspectives of policy making countries and provinces and implementation of higher education institutes.
