Nowadays,with the rapid development of science and technology,science education has become the key to building a powerful country in science and technology.With the advent of the era of knowledge economy,science education pays more attention to the cultivation of thinking ability,and scientific thinking is one of the important aspects.As one of the elements of scientific thinking,model construction has gained a clear position in the national curriculum standards for the first time,and the importance of cultivating students' ability to construct physical models has become increasingly prominent.There are different ways to train students to construct different types of physical models.Focusing on a certain type of physical model is helpful to refine and deepen the research on the cultivation of physical modeling ability.This study takes this as a starting point,and carries out practical research on the cultivation strategy of junior high school students' ability to construct transformational physical process model.In this paper,the literature method is used to sort out the related research status at home and abroad,clarify the research ideas,and discuss the transformational physical process model in junior middle school,the basic process of transformational physical process model construction,the elements,influencing factors and development stages of transformational physical process model construction ability.On this basis,the present situation of junior high school students' ability to construct transformational physical process model is surveyed by means of investigation,The main work includes dividing the level of junior high school students' ability to construct transformational physical process model,compiling test questions,analyzing data and drawing conclusions.The survey found that students' ability to extract key information is better than that to re-express key information,students' ability to extract hidden information through information organization is weak,students' familiarity with the situation will affect their performance of model recognition,the basic level of the model will affect the performance of low-level students' modeling ability,the junior high school students' awareness of checking whether the model they constructed is correct is weak,boys' ability to construct transformational physical process models is higher than girls',junior high school students' ability to construct transformational physical process models is positively correlated with their physical achievements mathematicalachievements,but not significantly correlated with their Chinese achievements.Finally,in view of the present situation,this paper puts forward some strategies to cultivate junior high school students' ability to construct transformational physical process models in teaching.
