"Mathematics Curriculum Standard for Full-time Compulsory Education(2011 Edition)" proposes 10 core qualities,of which the cultivation of "spatial concept" plays an important role in primary school mathematics teaching in possess.The author focuses on the cultivation of "spatial concept" for primary school students and conducts relevant empirical research.In this study,we first analyzed more than 400 collected "Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region primary school mathematics teaching cases",especially analyzed some teaching strategies about "space concept" cultivation,understood some problems existing in the current mathematics teaching,and observed on the spot in the mathematics classroom of the experimental school,and found some deficiencies in the teaching related to space concept.Then,through literature research,the relevant theoretical and practical research results on the teaching strategy of space concept in primary school mathematics in China are summarized and sorted out.Combined with the actual situation and teaching progress of experimental schools,the "location" unit in the first volume of grade 5 is selected as the teaching content,guided by modern teaching concepts,based on the analysis of teaching objectives,the teaching design is carried out by considering the characteristics of learners and selecting corresponding teaching strategies,and the design scheme is implemented.During the research process,relevant data are collected from various aspects and angles to test the research assumptions.This research uses literature research method,questionnaire survey method and Experimental Methodology to carry out the research.By comparing and analyzing the measured data before and after,class 2 of five years is selected as the experimental class among the four classes in grade 5,and class 1 of five years with basically the same knowledge base and learning interest starting point is selected as the control class,and the control classkeeps the original teaching method unchanged.In the experimental class,"problem situation strategy","contact life strategy" and "group cooperative learning strategy" were used to teach the "location" unit respectively,and relevant data were collected during the implementation of each strategy.Quantitative analysis is made through statistical techniques such as T-test,Chi-square test and K-W test,so as to compare and evaluate the teaching effects of the experimental class and the control class.Practice shows that the introduction of problem situation strategy is helpful to stimulate students’ Spatial visualization and arouse their interest in mathematics learning,and is also helpful to students’ long-term memory and maintenance of the knowledge they have learned.Applying the learned mathematics knowledge to solve related problems in real life will help students realize the value of mathematics and thus generate intrinsic learning motivation.The application of group cooperative learning in exercise classes enables students to complete learning tasks in cooperation and competition,making the class more interesting and effective.The electronic whiteboard and multimedia technology show the characteristics of intuition,convenience,interest and timely feedback in the creation of classroom problem situations,small Interactive Games,explanation of exercises,expansion of knowledge and assignment of homework after class,which can provide strong technical support for the presentation of teaching information and the development of learning activities.The research results show that "problem situation strategy","contact life strategy" and "group cooperative learning strategy" supported by information technology have a certain promoting effect on the cultivation of pupils’ spatial concept,and are also conducive to enhancing their interest in mathematics learning.At the end of the article,some problems in the research are reflected and the direction for further improvement is clarified.
