With the development of the times,the importance of the quality of education has been constantly upgraded,which has promoted the major changes in the educational circles,especially the demand for the quality of students.Mathematics,as a basic education curriculum for primary school students,has been greatly adjusted by the new curriculum standards.Teachers are required to strengthen communication and discussion with students in the teaching process,and guide students to study actively instead of passively.Through the investigation of the actual teaching process of mathematics,it is found that the teaching efficiency is very low,and the students' mathematical knowledge is also very passive and lack of learning initiative.The concept of space is not only the quality that pupils must master when they study mathematics,but also the key to improve their math scores and abilities.The deepening of quality education has made more and more teachers understand the importance of space concept training in primary school mathematics teaching.Therefore,this paper aims at the cultivation of pupils' spatial concepts in the process of research,through the form of questionnaires,investigates the status quo of the cultivation of pupils' spatial concepts,combining teaching cases and teaching experiments,analyzes the existing problems,and then puts forward the possible solutions.In the whole research process,the experimental primary school in Youjiang District,Baise City,Guangxi Province was selected as the research object,and 42 primary school mathematics teachers were selected to investigate the status quo of pupils' spatial literacy in their school,and put forward a targeted solution strategy,that is,using the life experience of pupils to cultivate the concept of space.To cultivate the concept of space by observing the characteristics,to cultivate the concept of space by activities and to cultivate the concept of space by communicating and imaginingactivities.Finally,the paper chooses the concrete teaching case of cuboid(2)to discuss the teaching design of space concept cultivation in geometry and graphics.
