At the beginning of the 21 st century,China launched the eighth basic education curriculum reform,which also put forward new directions and task for the basic education history curriculum,This reform of the historical curriculum established a student-centered educational concept,focusing on the quality education students.It requires not only changing the way students learn,advocating student's active participation in teaching activities,but also encouraging teachers to explore diverse teaching methods and multiple evaluation methods.Today,the eighth curriculum reform has gone through nearly 20 years.A series of principles and policies are insisting that schools actively develop and make full use of all curriculum resources inside and outside schools,and actively explore a variety of teaching methods.China has a long history and rich cultural implication,there are a large number of unique historical and cultural resources.Therefore,the development and application of historical and cultural resources in each region in history teaching will become a new topic worthy of exploration.Guyuan City,located at the southernmost end of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region,is connected with grassland culture in the north and Central Plains culture in the south.It is an important military throat in ancient northwest China.The world-famous ancient Silk Road crosses Guyuan.Silk Road civilization has left its mark here.With the development of history,Hui culture also resides here,which makes Guyuan City rich in local curriculum resources.The main content of Guyuan's historical and cultural resources which can be combined with middle school history textbooks is the content of Chinese history.Therefore,this paper mainly focuses on how to use Guyuan's historical and cultural resources in junior middle school history teaching.Combining with the previous research results,this paper draws the basic concept of historical and cultural resources.Through comparison and sorting out,it combs the historical and cultural resources of Guyuan City and the junior middle school history teaching in the form of tables.It also briefly describes the historical relics,celebrities and folklore culture in order to pave the way for the concrete application.The specific application part is to elaborate from two aspects: interluding narrative in regular lessons and exploring learning in activity lessons,and to design unique teaching cases to prove the feasibility of Guyuan's historical and cultural resources in junior middle school history teaching.In order to make more rational use of local historical and cultural resources,five teaching suggestions are put forward at last: follow the curriculum standards,assist teaching;understand the learning situation,flexible teaching;actively study and explore teaching;use activity courses to experience teaching;and adjust the corresponding teaching evaluation methods appropriately.
