| Educational concepts and connotations are constantly updated and enriched with the development of the times,and the Party and the state emphasize the need to vigorously develop quality education and the fundamental task of education to implement the establishment of moral education.To implement the Party’s education policy,the Ministry of Education revised the high school history curriculum standards in 2017 and a new revision in2020,which focuses on the core literacy of the subject of history.Local history resources are important curriculum resources in history teaching,and they have special advantages in cultivating students’ core literacy.The Lu’an region has a long history and is rich in local history resources.The scientific use of local history resources in high school history teaching can help improve teachers’ teaching and cultivate students’ core literacy.However,due to the heavy teaching tasks of high school teachers and the limited class time of history classes,the development and utilization of local history and cultural resources in high school history teaching is not ideal.This article takes the teaching activities carried out by history teachers in the Lu’an area in terms of the development and utilization of local history curriculum resources as the object of study,focusing on the problems encountered in their implementation,the ways of application and strategies.Except for the introduction and conclusion,the article is divided into four chapters.The first chapter provides a systematic overview of local history and cultural resources in Lu’an,analyzes the connotation of local history resources,as well as the classification and characteristics of local history and cultural resources in Lu’an.Chapter 2 reveals the current situation of the practical use of local history resources in high school history teaching through a survey of high school students and high school history teachers in the Lu’an area respectively,and analyzes the problems and shortcomings in applying local history and cultural resources to teaching.First,students’ enthusiasm for learning local history has not been fully mobilized.Second,a few teachers are not highly conscious of developing local history curriculum resources,and the application of local history resources in history teaching is not deep enough and in a single form.Again,there is a lack of support and understanding from parents and other social aspects,and the evaluation and incentive mechanism of the educational administration needs to be improved.Chapter 3 proposes principles,strategies and ways to use local history and cultural resources in high school history teaching based on the problems that arise in the actual teaching of local history resources in Lu’an and the value of applying local history and cultural resources to cultivate core literacy in history subjects.Chapter 4 takes the three teaching sessions of classroom introduction,in-class lecture and classroom summary as examples to use local history and cultural resources of Lu’an for teaching design. |
