In recent years, with the development of society and economic transformation,a large number of outsiders have moved to live in cities with their family, thus forming a new kind of floating population type-floating children. The total foreign population in the country has reached 244 million by 2017 with children aged 0-14 accounting for 21.7%.These migrant children have to live in unfamiliar environment. They not only need to adapt quickly to the new environment, but also face problems such as learning failure, emotional neglect and poor communication with parents which have aroused widespread concern from all walks of life.By investigating the current situation of parent-child communication in the families of migrant children,it is found that there are many problems existing including their vague understanding of parent-child communication, the differences in communication content, lack of communication skills, and large divergence of the satisfaction. Therefore, this paper focuses on improving the awareness and skills of parent-child communication in migrant children’s families. With the parent-child communication system as the theoretical support,it explores the first level--element level, that is,the communication ability of the subjects, which is embodied in two aspects including expression and listening, understanding and conflict resolution. Then, the above two aspects are applied to the intervention content and group strategy of the group intervention to explore the effectiveness of the intervention in the parent-child communication of migrant children’s families. It is concluded that the involvement of the group has achieved certain results in improving the parent-child communication of migrant children’s families.Through the evaluation and analysis of the effect,it is found that they can clearly recognize their role in the family as whether children or parents according to the direct observation and study in groups and learn to think in another’s position through role-playing and imitation. In addition, they can get parent-child communication skills to express, listen, understand and resolve conflicts through task challenges in groups and experience the communication effect between parents and children through the shadow play performance cooperating with each other. In the group, parents and children can understand each other better and improve their relationship with theirenhanced communication awareness and skills. The form and content of the group activity and the performance of social workers are recognized and affirmed by the members, but there are some deficiencies. It is summarized that the parent-child communication system is important in improving the parent-child communication in migrant children’s families to encourage members to play their respective roles in the family at the element level of family communication. The Parent-child Communication Ability Scale can measure the changes of the communication ability of team members well. The observation learning of social learning theory has been widely used in groups, which is helpful for members to learn communication knowledge by image learning. In order to produce a marked effect of group work in the parent-child communication,it is necessary to be familiar with the community to obtain group assistance and provide continuous follow-up services as well as the multi-link resources.
