A Study On The Social Capital And Social Satisfaction Of Rural Residents

With the developing of reform and opening up policy,more and more attention has been paid to the issues of agriculture,rural areas and farmers.Farmers are an important factor in "agriculture,countryside and farmers" The quality of life of rural residents has been increasingly concerned by the state and society.The quality of life lies not only in the material level but also in the subjective feelings of people.As a concept with multiple levels and broad connotations,residents' social satisfaction can reflect their social life comfort and is also an important indicator to measure social development.This paper uses the “Deliberative Democracy and Election Democracy Survey” database hosted by DeYong Ma to study the social satisfaction of rural residents.To further study the social satisfaction of rural residents,this paper divides the satisfaction of rural residents into three levels: Micro satisfaction at the individual level,medium satisfaction at the community level and macro satisfaction at the national level.The paired sample t-test showed that there were significant differences in the satisfaction of rural residents at three levels,among which the satisfaction at the national level was the highest,followed by the satisfaction at the individual level,and the satisfaction at the community level was the lowest.Based on the perspective of social capital,this paper explores the influencing factors of rural residents' satisfaction at all levels,and divides the specific operation of rural residents' social capital into three dimensions: social interaction network,social trust and concern for public affairs,through the rural residents.The Multiple Linear Regression analysis of social capital and three levels of satisfaction obtained the following findings:(1)The social capital of rural residents has a positive influence on different levels of social satisfaction;(2)Different dimensions of social capital have different effects on different levels of social satisfaction: in the dimension of social communication network,weak relationship has a significant impact on the individual level and the national level,while all three levels of satisfaction were significantly affected by strong relationship;In the dimension of social trust,grassroots government trust has a significant impact on three levels of satisfaction,but highlevel government trust only has a significant impact on national-level satisfaction,and publicsector trust has a significant impact on satisfaction at the individual and community levels.Special trust only has a significant impact on satisfaction at the individual level,while the general trust have a significant impact on satisfaction at the individual level and national level satisfaction;The dimension of caring degree of public affairs has a significant impact on satisfaction of all three levels.
