Study On The Application Of Folk Art In Art Teaching Outside School For Children In Northern Shaanxi Province

With the proposal in the New Curriculum “actively developing local art curriculum resources” in Curriculum Standards on Art”(2011),making full use of local resources and carrying out distinctive art teaching activities,more and more local art educators have realized that local folk art is an important supplement to local art curriculum resources.Traditional folk art in northern Shaanxi has rich forms,extensive contents and beautiful shapes.It has been handed down from generation to generation for thousands of years.It has been a symbol of historical and cultural heritage in northern Shaanxi.It has reflected the genuine,simple and optimistic emotional colors of the people in northern Shaanxi.It is a living fossil for the study of northern Shaanxi culture and an important basis for increasing children's self-awareness and home identity.However,in the development of globalization,this traditional folk form is no longer familiar with the masses,folk art in northern Shaanxi has gradually faded out of the mainstream vision,and folk art with national symbols in northern Shaanxi has begun to be marginalized.The author hopes that through the development and application of folk art resources in northern Shaanxi,it could carry out unique art teaching activities,stimulate children's interest in folk art,and pass the knowledge of folk art in northern Shaanxi to the next generation,which is an effective way to inherit the unique culture and aesthetics of the area.This study has started with the investigation of the present situation of the application of folk art out-of-school children's art teaching in Yan 'an,analyzed the results of the investigation,and has put forward some suggestions on the implementation of the out-of-school children's art education and teaching.It aims at the selection of the folk art curriculum resources and the formation of the teachers of folk art in northern Shaanxi Province.The application of North Folk Art children's art education has provided certain application strategies.It is hoped that by increasing the attention paid by children's art education institutions to folk art curriculum resources,students' ability to inherit,expand and innovate folk art in northern Shaanxi could be trained from an early age,so as to promote the inheritance,development of folk art,cultivate students' cultural consciousness and self-confidence,and enhance students' sense of mission in cultural heritage.
