According to the China Mobile Population Development Report 2017,the total number of floating population in China has declined for the second consecutive year.At the same time,the number of elderly migrants is rising,from 5.03 million in 2000 to 2015.13.04 million people.At the individual and family level,in terms of objective and subjective willingness,there are great differences within the elderly migrant population.Among them,the rural elderly migrant population has the triple characteristics of rural people,the elderly and the migrants.For the elderly in the city,the new living environment of the city will put them in great pressure and challenge in terms of physiology,psychology,culture and life.However,the relevant laws and regulations are not perfect at present,and the elderly migrant population in rural areas,which should be valued,is excluded by various welfare policies.This makes the urban life of rural elderly people have more problems and difficulties,and thus it is difficult to adapt to urban life.This paper mainly adopts the sampling method of snowball in non-probability sampling.In Baoding City,15 rural migrants from urban areas were selected as survey objects.The qualitative research methods were used to collect relevant materials through literature analysis and in-depth interviews.The data is systematically organized and analyzed.On the basis of the theory of social adaptation,answer: the demographic characteristics of the rural elderly migrant population,the reasons for the flow,the situation of the inflowing family,the status quo of life and the willingness to stay in the future,and tapping the real and objective population of rural migrants in rural areas.The status quo of life,while at the same time from the details of the situation to analyze their origins and causes in urban life.The study found that rural migrants in rural areas have a certain degree of incompatibility in economic,social security and welfare,daily life,interpersonal communication,and psychology.It mainly includes the lack of welfare treatment,single economic support,unfamiliar living environment,lifestyle differences,less leisure time,weak interpersonal network,low community integration,lack of belonging,and low sense of identity.Aiming at the problems of the social adaptation of the elderly migrants in rural areas,this paper explores and studies the social adaptation of the elderly migrants from rural areas in the four dimensions of themselves,families,communities and governments,and finds the isolation of the household registration system and urban and rural culture.The differences,weak social support,inadequate intergenerational support,and differences in individual factors among the elderly are the main causes of social adaptation problems in the elderly migrant population.In order to effectively solve the practical problems of the elderly migrant population in rural areas,this paper proposes a series of targeted countermeasures and suggestions,which is conducive to restoring the social functions of the elderly migrants in rural areas,improving their happiness,promoting health and actively aging.
