Left-behind women belong to vulnerable groups,and their lives and emotional conditions are worrying.At present,there is more and more attention and research on left-behind women in the academic circles,but there are very few studies on left-behind women who are specifically targeted at poor villages in the northwestern minority areas.This paper hopes that through research and professional social work intervention,it can establish a broader emotional support network for left-behind women in poverty-stricken villages in the northwestern ethnic minority areas,reduce the occurrence of rural tragedies,empower rural left-behind women,and enhance the ability of left-behind women to effectively perceive and utilize surrounding network resources,and alleviate the emotional stress of left-behind women.Firstly,this paper collects data through the left-behind women's life emotional questionnaire and emotional scale,analyzes the current situation of left-behind women in the Y poverty-stricken villages in the northwestern ethnic minority areas,and adopts comparative thinking to investigate the characteristics and differences of the emotional support network of left-behind women in the Y poverty-stricken villages in the northwestern ethnic minority areas under different national cultures.Then,based on the questionnaire data and in-depth interviews,select the clients involved in the case,and use casework methods to help left-behind women to build a more stable and extensive emotional support network,including family emotional support network,neighborhood-friendship emotional support network and self-support of left-behind women.Finally,it summarizes and reflects,provides case reference for the use of emotional support network in the field of social work,and proposes effective suggestions for improving the emotional support network for left-behind women in the Northwest from the perspective of social work.
