Research On Mobile Game Addiction Of Left-behind Children Involved By Group Work

At present,the academic research on mobile game addiction is gradually deepening,mostly focusing on the fields of psychology,sociology,public health and preventive medicine,but few professional intervention of social work,especially the problem of mobile game addiction of left-behind children in rural areas.This paper takes the left-behind children in L township,Y city as the research object,mainly take unstructured interviews,participatory observation,questionnaire survey method of data collection,based on social learning theory,social support theory,explore left-behind children with internal external reasons of mobile games,mobile game addiction problems by the method of group social work,guide the left-behind children for mobile game has the correct cognition and attitude,find dealing with mobile game addiction prevention and improving method,help them establish correct through and learning attitude.Through the analysis of the data,it is found that the main needs of left-behind children are as follows: 1.Correct the behavioral deviation of mobile games.2.set up the correct concept of treating mobile games.3.Meet their psychological demands.4.Improve their communication with parents and peer groups.Through the intervention of the activities of the social work group,remarkable results have been achieved and the following conclusions have been reached:(1)group social work plays a certain role in the problem of mobile game addiction among left-behind children.(2)group social work can apply relevant social work concepts,which can alleviate the mistaken understanding of the case owner on mobile games,strengthen his understanding of parents and peers,and establish correct concepts and cognition.(3)group social work can provide social support resources for clients,meet theirspiritual and emotional needs,and change their modes and ways of communication with others.Based on the above conclusions,this paper applies social work to the treatment of mobile game addiction,which can provide reference for the follow-up research,and calls for the national legislation to strengthen the protection of minors,game developers to assume social responsibility,and schools and families to pay attention to children's physical and mental health.However,this paper also has shortcomings:the research object range is small,and the source is relatively single;follow-up is limited for objective reasons.
