Due to the influence of the current education system, academic performance has always been regarded by parents and schools as an important indicator to measure students' academic performance. In order to improve the competitive advantage of students' examinations, parents and schools take up extra time to conduct cultural studies. This not only leads to excessive student stress, but also produces sensitive and fragile mental health problems. It is also crowded out due to exercise time, causing health problems such as obesity and myopia. How to make students find a balance between academic achievement, physical health and mental health is particularly important.Based on this,122 junior high school students were intervened in 12 weeks of moderate intensity exercise with the methods of literature, questionnaire, experiment and mathematical statistics(control group: 39 students, the cumulative time of exercise accounted for 30-40% of the time of physical education class;Experiment 1 group: 40 students, the cumulative time of exercise accounted for 50%of the time of Physical Education class;Experiment 2 group: 43 people, cumulative exercise time accounted for 60% of physical education time),to explore physical exercise for junior high school students self-esteem The impact of level and academic achievement. It provides theoretical and practical guidance for the study of adolescent physical exercise to promote physical and mental health and to improve the academic achievement and self-esteem of junior high school students and promote the development of school sports.Research indicates:(1)The 12-week moderate-intensity physical exercise had a significant effect on the overall self-esteem of junior high school students(F=5.664,P=0.019<0.05),and the physical dimension(F=11.903,P=0.001<0.05).In terms of physical fitness,The cumulative exercise time accounted for 50% of the physical education time, and the physical exercise and exercise accumulation time accounted for 60% of the physicalactivity time. The speech dimension of overall self-esteem(F=2.462,P=0.119>0.05),mathematical dimension(F=1.361,P=0.246>0.05),general academic dimension(F=2.780,P=0.098>0.05),appearance dimension(F)=0.404,P=0.526>0.05),the relationship with the opposite sex(F=0.059,P=0.808>0.05),the same-sex relationship dimension(F=0.953,P=0.331>0.05),and the parental relationship dimension(F=0.994),P=0.321>0.05),honest-trustworthy dimension(F=0.001,P=0.974>0.05),emotional stability dimension(F=0.201,P=0.655>0.05)and general self-esteem dimension(F=0.009,P=0.926>0.05)No significant effect.(2)The total score of 12-week moderate-intensity physical exercise for junior high school students(F=0.212,P=0.646>0.05),math score(F=0.002,P=0.969>0.05),English score(F=1.861,P=0.175>0.05),Chinese scores(F=1.663,P=0.200>0.05)had no significant effect.(3)Regression analysis showed that 12-week moderate-intensity physical exercise had no predictive effect on the overall self-esteem and changes of various dimensions of junior high school students(P>0.05).(4)Regression analysis showed that 12-week moderate-intensity physical exercise had no predictive effect on the scores of junior high school students' academic scores, mathematics scores,Chinese scores, and English scores(P>0.05).Research conclusion:(1)12-week moderate-intensity physical exercise can improve the overall self-esteem of junior high school students. The cumulative exercise time accounts for50% of the total time of physical education and 60% of the total time of physical education. The physical self-esteem level of physical fitness is better. The improvement effect,in which the exercise accumulation time accounts for 60% of the total physical education time, the physical exercise improvement effect is more obvious.(2)The effect of 12-week moderate-intensity physical exercise on theimprovement of junior high school students' academic performance is not obvious.(3)12-week moderate-intensity physical exercise has no predictive effect on the change of self-esteem level of junior high school students.(4)12-week moderate-intensity physical exercise has no predictive effect on the changes in junior high school students' academic performance.
