International curriculum has been developing well in China that it was supervised by the local government in a common standard and in a scientific way,but there still lies new problems at the time.Taking the IBDP curriculum as an example,the course only provides a syllabus,which indicates the objectives of the curriculum,teaching content and evaluation criteria.There is little discussion on the implement of curriculum and subject teaching.Through this paper,it is hoped that we can analyze and summarize the features of physics in IBDP curriculum,and refer to the specific situation of the school,find the possible solution to a “localized” implement of teaching.As a result,the conclusion can offer a reference for a better implementation and development of international curriculum in our country.The main body of this paper contains three parts: a brief introduction on the teaching objectives,content and evaluation of the IBDP curriculum.Secondly,a discussion has been taken on the features of physics in the IBDP curriculum with respect to the above three aspects on the basis of literature research and survey interviews.Finally,a further discussion has been made on the implement of physics teaching by taking Shanghai P School as an example.At last,it is found that students are most satisfied with the evaluation of teaching organization,teaching methods and teaching resources in the “localized” implement of teaching physics of the school,and the setting of teaching content can be slightly adjusted according to the survey.The implementation of the “localization” of the international curriculum requires a full consideration.Not only the features of the curriculum itself and the requirements from the students should be considered,but also the problems encountered in the practical processing stage need to be discussed well.As a result,an optimized design can be finally made.
