The nation makes much account of the ideological and moral education of teenagers and school moral education.The mainstream values of society are the basis of the school moral education.As one of the basic approaches of school moral education,discipline moral education should carry the function of moral education,so Chinese naturally contains moral concepts.As the tool of Chinese discipline,textbook is bound to convey moral values.The following three documents,“the Standard of Chinese Curriculum in Compulsory Education(2011 edition)”,“Handbook for Implementing Guidelines on Moral Education in Primary and Secondary Schools” and “Code for Primary and Secondary School Students(revised in 2015)”,are the normative documents for textbook compilation and moral education,which regulate the moral value orientation contained in textbooks.Based on the above three documents,this paper will discuss whether the moral value orientation of the current junior middle school Chinese textbooks meets the requirements,and provide suggestions for the selection of textbooks and extracurricular reading materials.On the basis of the existing analysis framework of textbook value orientation,and according to the above three documents,the author constructs the analysis framework of moral value orientation of the textbook edited by Education Ministry,starting from three dimensions of “man and himself”,“man and society” and “man and nature”.The textbook will be classified and compared the textbook themes in accordance with this framework.In addition,the author tests the reliability of theme classification,including inter-rater reliability and intra-rater reliability.At the same time,the theme of moral value orientation is displayed by the characters.This paper will also construct the analysis framework of character image,and discuss the characters in textbooks from the aspects of “natural attributes” and “social attributes”.Using the framework mentioned above,the author analyses the Chinese textbooks(6 volumes)of junior high school compiled by the Education Ministry.The conclusions are as follows: under the theme classification of moral value orientation,attention has been paid to the cultivation of students’ personal morality,aesthetic and taste of nature,but there is a lack of such topics as thrift,innovation and environmental protection.And the interpretation of moral value theme lacks contemporaneity.And there are some problems in image building of the textbook,such as the imbalance between men and women,the singularization of the image of the same subject,and the lack of characterization in the dimension of “man and nature”.However,on the whole,it has met the requirements of the “the Standard of Chinese Curriculum in Compulsory Education(2011 edition)”,“Handbook for Implementing Guidelines on Moral Education in Primary and Secondary Schools” and “Code for Primary and Secondary School Students(revised in 2015)”.Accordingly,the author puts forward some suggestions from the following three aspects,namely,the selection of textbook,the selection of extracurricular reading and teachers’ instruction.For example,such as strengthening the epochal character and pluralism of text selection,improving theme categories,and paying attention to the cultivation of “transcendence quality” and so on. |
