| The school for foreign children is a special type of school in Shanghai,and A School is one of them.On the one hand,the school only accepts German students and uses the German education system to implement teaching;on the other hand,the geographical location makes it inextricably linked with China,and its particularity is self-evident.It was my privilege to be able to enter this school which is in a foreign environment to practice the local teaching model.This paper conducts a fieldwork in this school.Based on the literature,observation,interview and case analysis,this paper conducts a one-year research study,and finally selects two typical school-based extracurricular activities: a musical "Das Wilde Pack" and "China Day".They are deeply described,through which the paper tries to explore the role of extracurricular activities in the construction of school communities.The research content involves: the components and construction methods of the school community in extracurricular activities;the content and results of cross-border learning in the community in the case;the relationship between extracurricular activities and the school community.From the text,the author first analyzes the elements and construction methods of the school community in the two activities,the operational impact and the relevant content of the cross-border learning reflected in the school,and then explores the generality and individuality of the contents above in the two cases through cross-case analysis.Finally,the paper finds that the composition of school community requires the stability of members’ internal structure,the combination of material and human environment,and the support of common value;the school community construction can be achieved by sharing the vision of the target,constructing the appropriate organizational system,organizing public collaborative activities,and leveraging the heterogeneity and complementarity of the members;cross-border learning has common learning themes,diverse ways of interaction,it has the characteristics of cross,cooperation,diversity and internalization,and through cross-border learning the school community has become a learning organization;extracurricular activities are effective carrier for the construction of school community and have important significance for the construction of school community. |
