Key competencies is a concept that is born to adapt to the information age and to meet the new challenges of human self-realization,work practice and social life.The Curriculum Standard of physical Education and Health in Senior High School(2017)has established the proposition of developing students' key competencies in physical education,sothe cultivation of students' key competencies in physical education has become an important goal of physical education teaching in schools.By using the methods of literature,questionnaire and interview,this paper investigates and analyzes the present situation of physical education teaching in senior high school in Xinyang City,and puts forward an operational optimization strategy of physical education teaching in senior high school from the perspective of key competencies,which is helpful to guide the practice of physical education teaching in the future,promote the all-round development of students.The conclusions of the study are as follows:1.It is not good of the effect of physical education on the cultivation of students' sports abilityteaching in senior high school in Xinyang City.These are general including Sports cognition,physical exercise knowledge and skill education.The mastery effect of students' sports skills is not good,and only 63.44% of the students can display and compete.The effect of physical education on students' physical fitness improvement also needs to be improved and 86.14% of the students have passed the physical health test,and need to be strengthened in improving students' psychological quality.2.Physical education does not pay enough attention to students' health behavior education.20.20% of the students think that teachers have never taught the treatment of sports injury,but students generally have some problems,such as low frequency of exercise,short duration of exercise,low intensity of exercise and so on.And the choice of students' physical exercise mode is not scientific enough.3.The effect of moral education is obvious in physical education in senior high school in Xinyang City.The students' physical moral education is well carried out,and the sports mental health is upward.90.47% of the students can carry forward the spirit of hard work and team cooperation in sports.Students have strong awareness of rules and values,and positive views dominating in the event of bad behavior in the competition.Inthe face of misjudgment and misjudgment of referees,89.90% of the students can restrain and actively communicate.Generally speaking,students can correctly view the results of the competition,so that they can win without pride and lose without discouraging.4.The influencing factors are policies and regulations,physical education input,management system,headmaster,teachers,students,venue and equipmentof physical education teaching in senior high school in Xinyang City.The policies and regulations are not perfect,and there are no clear legal provisions about student punishment.The total amount of investment is small,unbalanced,and the evaluation mechanism of input efficiency is missing in physical education.The headmaster's understanding and attitude to physical education affect the development,quality and effect of physical education teaching.The low salary of physical education teachers affects the construction of physical education teachers and the improvement of the overall quality of physical education teachers.The uneven basis of students puts forward higher requirements for physical education teaching in senior high schools in Xinyang City.The total number of venues and equipment is small and uneven and the type is single.The lack of management and maintenance affects the development of physical education in Xinyang City.5.We should improve the competence of physical education teachers and attach importance to the subjectivity of students in the physical education teaching of senior high school in Xinyang City.We should improve the knowledge system of physical education teachers,enhance the learning consciousness of physical education teachers,pay attention to teaching practice,and empower physical education teachers to improve teachers' competence.On the premise of providing institutional protection and fully understanding the differences of students' personality,physical education teachers should give full play to students' subjectivity.6.It is necessary to formulate the teaching objectives based on the development of the key competencies of physical education,to choose the living and typical physical education teaching contents according to the actual situation,to optimize the physical education teaching environment from three aspects of material,system and collective,and to choose and innovate the teaching methods from the aspects of teaching objectives and tasks,satisfying students' interests,teachers and students' actual situation,and so onin the physical education teaching of senior high school in Xinyang City.7.The process of physical education teaching should change from paying attention to subject knowledge to students,from "traditional presupposition" to "dynamic generation",from single management of teachers to joint management of teachers and studentsin senior high school in Xinyang City.We should trydifferent teaching modes under the premise of considering students' interest in learning and the teaching ability of physical education teachers as far as possible.In the establishment of the evaluation system,we should pay attention to the transformation of the evaluation position from supervision and accountability to the promotion of the development of students,the renewal of the evaluation concept from "teaching" to "teaching",and the transformation of the evaluation content from the final "bonus" to the spreading "increment".
