By the turn of the 21st century,countries of the world have established development strategies of training competent talents as a priority one after another and talent competition has become competitive targets of a new round.In order to seize competitive advantage in new competitions,various countries have conducted curriculum reform correspondingly and cultivated talents who adapt to the social development.Therefore,improving key competence of citizens becomes common focus of curriculum reform.China issued the Comprehensively Deepening Curriculum Reform,Implementing Basic Tasks of Setting High Moral Values and Cultivating Persons in 2014,defining the basic tasks of Setting High Moral Values and Cultivating Persons.On the basis of using international research findings of key competencies for reference,our country has built a frame system of developing key competencies of Chinese students in accordance with national conditions,and the key competencies of the historical science has also emerged.Historical science,as a significant component of high school courses,will take on more responsibilities for cultivating historical key competencies of students and will play a decisive role in adapting high school students to social development.Historical classes are strategic fronts to promote students to cultivate historical key competencies.History teachers are important media to cultivate students,key competencies and their qualities to some extent cast influence on depth and width of students' perspective.As for the teaching under the guidance of historical key competencies,the teachers shall make clear of their positions and actively face new challenges and opportunities,to realize the transformation from literacy-type teacher to knowledge-type teacher.In the teaching process,teachers need to accurately grasp the historical knowledge,define historical knowledge as main carrier of forming historical key competencies,and arrange the curriculum activities in a scientific and reasonable way;they also need to closely integrate historical key competencies with practical teaching,conduct scientific evaluation on historical science,and put literacy into practice.Based on History Curriculum Standard for Regular High School(Edition 2017),this article takes teaching design(selected from People's Education Press,compulsory teaching material)of The Revolution of 1911 as an example.Under the guidance of historical key competencies,it discusses how teachers establish teaching goals,integrate teaching materials,optimize teaching process,and reasonably conduct learning evaluations.It also explores how the teachers enable students to use historical materialism in the process of exploration and understand and explain history on the basis of analyzing historical materials,so as to implement and cultivate historical key competencies.
