As a way to appreciate education,teacher praise is of great significance to the development of children.Teachers praise is a positive evaluation of teachers of young children,it is an important part of educational incentives.Appropriate teacher praise can help young children develop positive self-concepts,enhance children's self-confidence,and cultivate positive and positive attitudes of young children.It can stimulate children's potential and play a role in promoting children's psychological development.With the promotion of the concept of appreciation education,teachers have increasingly attached to the use of praise to strengthen the good behavior of young children,but at the same time teacher praise also exposed many problems.Inappropriate teacher praise will damage the intrinsic motivation of young children,leading to negative self-concepts,damaging the enthusiasm of young children,and enabling children to gain negative emotional experiences,thus hindering the psychological development of young children.Young children are the object of teacher praise.The experience of children's praise to teachers is the most profound.Children's views on praise will directly affect the effect of teachers' praise.Therefore,exploring teacher praise based on children's perspective is of great value for improving teacher praise.However,the current research on the praise of preschool teachers lacks children's perspective.Therefore,this study explores the inner world of young children through interviews with young children,explores the views of young children on teacher praise,and analyzes the teacher's praise in the eyes of young children.In this study,three kindergartens in Changchun City(including 2 public kindergartens and 1 private kindergarten)were selected.72 self-made semi-structured interviews were used to interview 72 children to understand the children's views on teachers' praise.Through the qualitative research software Nvivo11 plus,the children's views were coded and analyzed.Part of the research results are unfolded from five aspects "Children's recognition of the connotation of teacher praise","children's understanding of the ways of teacher praise","children's feelings for teacher praise","children's attribution to teacher praise" and "children's expectations for teacher praise ",and the teacher's praise in the eyes of young children is meticulously presented.On the basis of the research results,the discussion part of the discussion from the "teacher praise effect","factors affecting the teacher's praise effect" and "teacher praise orientation bias" conducted a more in-depth discussion and analysis.After the research results and discussion part of the research,it is found that there is a gap between teachers' praise and children's expectation of praise;children's perception of teacher praise has individual differences;teacher's praise of the incentive function and control function is upside down.Based on the research results and analysis and discussion,the following four educational suggestions are proposed:first,treat the children's feelings for teacher praise correctly;second,use various forms of praise;third,pay attention to the cultivation of learning quality;fourth,increase the praise of vertical comparison to respect differences.
