Under the influence of the idea that "teachers become researchers",China has also repositioned the role of teachers that the teacher is not only the person who preach and teach for students,but also the designer,researcher,and developer of courses.The reform of basic education curriculum also urgently requires teachers to have the ability of subject teaching and research.The ability of subject teaching and research of the teacher affects the quality of basic education,as well as the overall professional level of the teaching staff.Analyzing the structural elements,influencing factors and development level of subject teaching research ability of junior high school physics teacher,it is helpful to perfect the ability of teaching and research,provide strategies guidance to survey and develop subject teaching research ability of junior high school physics teacher,and promote the professional development of junior high school physics teachers.By using literature method,based on the analysis of the current research status of the research ability of subject teaching at home and abroad,and the requirements of the new curriculum for the research ability of junior high school physics teachers.Constructing the structural elements of subject teaching research ability of junior high school physics teachers : find and characterization questions,collect and analyze data,apply research methods,design the research programs,regulate research processes,and process data,express and reflect on conclusions,and cooperate and communicate.Then the evaluation index system of the subject teaching and research ability of physics teachers in junior high school is constructed,and a questionnaire which can measure the subject teaching and research ability of physics teachers in junior high school is designed according to the evaluation index.Finally,a questionnaire survey was conducted to investigate the teaching and research ability of physics teachers in junior middle schools by using the questionnaire survey method and interview method.the survey find that the current junior high school physics teacher's subject teaching research ability is generally weak,especially the lack of ability to discover and characterize the problem;for different degrees and different titles,There is a significant difference in the subject teaching research ability of junior middle school physics teachers.There is no significant difference among teachers of different teaching ages;the teaching research consciousness and the training effect of teaching research are important factors influencing the formation and development of teachers' teaching research ability.Furthermore,according to the survey results,the strategies of improving and developing the ability of junior high school physics teacher subject teaching research are proposed from the aspects of education department,school and teachers: understanding the relationship between teaching research and teaching,cultivating scientific teaching research consciousness,and strengthening teaching research related knowledge.Learning,consolidating the theoretical basis of teaching research;constructing a teaching and research community,developing multi-level exchanges and cooperation;attaching importance to teaching and research special training,promoting the improvement of subject teaching research capabilities;improving the teaching research management system and optimizing the teaching and research environment.
