With the rapid development of global information,higher requirements are put forward for the information literacy.Information retrieval ability,processing ability,management and expression ability,evaluation and inquiry ability in the information society has become important indicators.As the main subject to cultivate students’ information literacy,information technology discipline is also facing challenges.Especially in the information technology class of junior high school,the problems such as poor enthusiasm of students,lack of individualized guidance,lack of auxiliary resources and so on all seriously affect the teaching quality.Therefore,it is urgent to adopt a more flexible and effective teaching mode,expand and integrate more high-quality teaching resources to improve the teaching quality of information technology subjects in junior high schools.Micro-curriculum,as a teaching resource deeply popular in teachers and students,can make up for the deficiency of static characters in information presentation,make learning content more vivid,can better arouse students’ interest and improve learning efficiency.However,there are some problems in the actual application process of micro-curriculum.for example,improper application lead to the fragmentation and disordering of knowledge,the theme-based teaching is a kind of teaching mode that can make it be thematic and serial.Firstly,the concept and characteristics of micro-curriculum and thematic teaching are systematically combed by method of literature review.Secondly,using the methods of questionnaire and interview(pre-test),the learning situation of students and the teaching situation of teachers in junior high school information technology lesson are investigated.On the basis of junior high school information technology teaching materials,learners’ characteristics and teaching situation,this paper puts forward three principles of thematic teaching design supported by micro-curriculum: the first principle is thematic make knowledge and skills be thematic,and thematic design by living;The second principle is serialization and resource sharing platform is supported for micro-classes.The third principle is teachers’ assistance being moderate and students’ tasks being clear.In addition,in order to ensure the effective implementation of thematic teaching supported by micro-curriculum,this study combing the teaching process,including the preparation stage,implementation stage and optimization stage.This study adopts the quasi-experimental research method and selects " making one inch of photos" as the teaching content,takes the students of a class in the seventhgrade,and carries out the experiment is conducted for more than one month with the assistance of the thematic series of micro-courses,mind map,thematic learning record book and multiple evaluation scale.Through questionnaire survey(post-test),classroom observation and analysis of the effects,the conclusions of this study are as follows: First,the combination of micro-curriculum and thematic teaching is helpful to improve the quality of subject teaching.Second,the combination of micro-curriculum and thematic teaching should go through five stages.Third,the combination of micro-curriculum and thematic teaching should pay attention to the preliminary analysis.Fourth,the combination of micro-curriculum and thematic teaching should follow the three principles of teaching design.Fifth,the combination of micro-curriculum and thematic teaching should pay attention to evaluation.
