The Enlightenment Of Confucian Gentleman Personality To The Cultivation Of College Students 'moral Personality In The New Era

The victory of the Nineteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China,such as the Great Bell,made a huge voice,which stirred the drums of the times.The report pointed out that it is necessary to cultivate new people with ideals,abilities and responsibilities,which pointed out the direction for the cultivation of moral personality of college students in the new era.Young college students are the builders and successors of the socialist cause in the new era,and the new force of national prosperity and national rejuvenation.Their moral personality development affects the improvement of China's overall national strength to a certain extent.Therefore,how to cultivate high-complex quality talents with sound moral personality has become a major issue for colleges and universities to implement the task of “cultivating talents with morality”.The Chinese traditional Confucian gentleman personality thought has a long history and has the exuberant vitality,it represented the lofty personality model,has affected the generation after generation Chinese.The Confucian gentleman's personality thought contains rich ideological resources of personality education,which has important theoretical value and practical significance for the cultivation of moral personality of college students in the new era.It is conducive to cultivating college students' moral emotion of respecting morality and being kind,their enterprising spirit of being vigorous and promising,pioneering and innovative,as well as their sense of social responsibility.We should creatively transform and innovatively develop the gentleman's personality according to the needs of the times,integrate it into the ideal personality norms in the new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics,form new points of cultural education and moral education in the new era,and give full play to its positive role in the construction of moral personality of college students in the new era,so as to overcome the problems existing in the moral personality of college students at present,improve their moral cognition level and moral behavior ability,and cultivate new people in the era that conform to the development of contemporary society.This paper takes the Analects of Confucianism as the main research object.On the basis of summarizing the Confucian gentleman's personality thoughts and the current situation of Cultivating College Students' moral personality at home and abroad,this paper defines the connotation of gentleman's personality and moral personality,clarifies the relationship between gentleman's personality and moral personality cultivation of college students in the new era and the value of cultivation,and further analyses the challenges and attributions of moral personality cultivation of college students in the new era,puts forward the goal of Cultivating College Students' sound moral personality in the new era by drawing lessons from gentleman's personality education thought.The article is roughly divided into the following four parts:The first part mainly defines the connotation of moral personality,further describes the new requirements of moral personality of college students in the new era,and sorts out the connotation and evolution of the gentleman,summarizes the content characteristics of the gentleman's personality from the aspects of ideals and aspirations,moral accomplishment,academic approach,behavioral norms,and so on;In addition,the theoretical basis of this research is clarified,that is,research should be carried out under the guidance of Marxist morality and the theory of all-round development of individuals.The second part discusses the relationship between gentleman personality and moral personality cultivation of college students in the new era.The two are inherently unified in the objective needs of social development in terms of cultivation objectives.The former provides rich ideological and moral resources for the latter,while the latter enriches and develops the former.Secondly,expounds the value of gentleman personality for moral personality cultivation of college students in the new era.Using the beneficial elements of gentleman's personality for reference to cultivate the moral personality of college students in the new era is beneficial to develop effective ways of ideological and political education in colleges and universities,to inherit and carry forward excellent Chinese traditional culture,and to cultivate and practice socialist core values.By analyzing the historical limitations of the gentleman's personality thought,the article conditions and basic principles of its transformation in the new era are clarified.The third part: Through collecting and sorting out the relevant empirical data of the current situation of college students' moral personality development in the new era,it describes the problems of college students' moral personality from the aspects of moral cognition,moral belief,moral emotion,moral will and moral behavior,and makes an analysis of the causes of the predicament in terms of the change of traditional moral personality status and the factors such as society,universities and moral subjects.The fourth part: In view of the problems and attributions of moral personality of college students in the new era,combining with the conditions of the times,we should carry out creative transformation and innovative development of the gentleman's personality thought,draw lessons from the gentleman's educational thoughts of "Tao","Virtue","Knowledge","Rite" and "Courage",and so on,cultivate new people who meet the requirements of the times,have ideal,virtue and goodness,knowledge and ability,subject consciousness and spirit of self-discipline,continuous pioneering and enterprising,innovative and work hard.
