The times are changing,science and technology are also improving,but most of the high school information technology and general technical textbooks have not kept pace with the development of the times,or still use the old textbooks.Many of the contents of the textbook are already in the hands of the current students or are not practical yet.Therefore,under the wave of new curriculum reform,new educational methods and educational concepts based on maker education and STEAM education are being introduced into the teaching of high school step by step.These new content and knowledge have been used to conduct community courses or second classes,and have been re-integrated into the development of school-based curriculum.In the context of the maker movement,3D printing technology,as one of the most intuitive teaching content and teaching methods,is getting more and more attention from educators.During the educational practice,the author used the content of 3D printing technology to conduct high school 3D printing school-based curriculum development and practice research to explore the feasibility of 3D printing technology as a school-based curriculum development in high school information technology and general technical subjects.And discuss whether the teaching content of 3D printing technology can promote students' innovative ability,innovative thinking and spatial thinking ability.Based on the outcome-based education theory,project-based learning model and multi-intelligence theory,this research is based on the literature research method and the integration of network resources to understand the current development of 3D printing technology and its application in the field of education.Then,from the requirements analysis,the determination of the course objectives,the selection of teaching equipment,teaching content of the high school 3D printing school-based curriculum is compiled,and the course content is organized and practiced through the action research method.Finally,according to the real feelings of the teaching teachers in the front line of teaching and the data and feedback obtained from the questionnaire survey,the teaching effect analysis is carried out,so as to do the related work for the follow-up improvement and revision of the school.Finally,the author has developed and practiced a school-based curriculum for one semester.From the students' final works and the performance of students participating in the competition,it can be concluded that it is feasible and necessary to carry out 3D printing school-based courses in high school in the context of maker education.Moreover,the teaching content of 3D printing technology can bring about a certain improvement effect on students' imagination,innovative thinking and interdisciplinary thinking.
