Nowadays,the reform of basic education has become more mature.As an indispensable auxiliary teaching tool in the stage of basic education,textbooks present a situation of coexistence of multiple versions.Under the background of education reform,more and more versions of primary school mathematics textbooks are available to students from different regions.Mathematics textbooks are not only one of the ways to inherit extensive mathematical knowledge,but also one of the tools for teachers to teach mathematical knowledge and students to learn mathematical knowledge,which is very important for the formation of students' mathematical literacy.As the basic knowledge of mathematics,the field of "number and algebra" can not only cultivate students' mathematical learning ability,but also cultivate their logical thinking ability.Therefore,the field of "number and algebra" plays an important role in primary school mathematics textbooks.Illustration is an auxiliary tool for the transfer of mathematical knowledge in mathematics textbooks.For the "number and algebra" field of primary school mathematics textbooks,the knowledge in this field is relatively abstract,while the cognitive development of primary school students is more concrete,so it can help students to establish a connection between their concrete thinking and mathematical abstract knowledge.In this study were summarized on the basis of the elementary school mathematics textbook illustrations of the existing research,with three sets of textbooks of thirty-eight years during the period of the Republic of China as the research object,USES the history method,text analysis,content analysis,three sets of textbooks in the period of the Republic of China in the field of "number and algebra" illustrations for quantitative research and qualitative research,analysis of the characteristics of the writing,and tries to present the elementary school mathematics textbook in the field of "number and algebra" illustrations provide enlightenment writing.First order according to the development of education,thirty-eight years of the Republic of China can be divided into three phases,based on the research of the three sets of textbooks in preliminary browsing and analysis,can be found during the period of the Republic of China elementary school mathematics textbook in the field of "number and algebra" illustrations are varied and complex,and some research ideas,combining previous decision to the elementary school mathematics textbooks of the Republic of China illustration involves knowledge in the field of "number and algebra" block,knowledge unit and knowledge point,density,total pages than,location,distribution and type of quantitative statistics and qualitative analysis.Finally,the author hopes to deeply analyze its characteristics and provide inspiration for the illustration compilation in the field of "number and algebra" in primary school mathematics textbooks at present.This study is divided into six parts: The first part is introduction.Firstly,the topic of this study is determined from four aspects: the needs of mathematical discipline construction,the needs of mathematical curriculum development,the needs of elementary school mathematics textbook innovation,and the needs of illustration compilation in the field of "number and algebra" of elementary school mathematics textbook.Illustration by scholars in recent years about the "mathematics","mathematics textbook illustrations","mathematics textbook illustrations","elementary textbooks" number and algebra "field","elementary school field of" number and algebra "teaching material" comb,research on the elementary school mathematics textbook research enthusiasm of during the period of the Republic of China,but most focuses on the study of mathematics content and illustrations of the research is only a small part of its overall research.Considering the field of "number and algebra" in the important position in the mathematics textbook and illustrations for students the importance of mathematics learning,this study try to textbooks for primary school mathematics in China during the period of the Republic of China in the field of "number and algebra" illustrations as the research object,in determining the research purpose,significance,theoretical basis,the core of this study term defined,then what is combed the research object of this study and how to select,and to study the dimensions that preliminary have the feasibility study.The second part is an overview of the knowledge content reflected by illustrations in the field of "number and algebra" in primary school mathematics textbooks in the Republic of China.According to the division table of primary school mathematics curriculum content knowledge domain,knowledge block and knowledge unit,which has been developed and used by scholars and is relatively mature,this paper ADAPTS it to the actual situation of this study,and then obtains the division standard of knowledge block and knowledge unit in the field of "number and algebra" in this study.According to the determined knowledge content in the field of "number and algebra" and the compilation of statistical illustrations,it is found that the illustrations in the field of "number and algebra" in three sets of books are mainly focused on two units: "four rules of integers" and "understanding of measurement units".The third part is the statistical analysis of illustration density and page number in the field of "number and algebra" in primary school mathematics textbooks in the Republic of China.Through the average number of illustrations per page in the field of "number and algebra",it is found that the density of illustrations in primary school is higher than that in advanced primary school,and the density of illustrations in textbooks with later publication time in the same period is higher than that in textbooks with earlier publication time.Through the proportion of the total number of pages of illustrations in the field of "number and algebra",it can be found that the number of pages of illustrations in "four rules of integer" and "understanding of measurement unit" are relatively large.The fourth part is about the distribution of illustrations in the field of "number and algebra" in primary school mathematics textbooks in the Republic of China.Through statistical text,examples and exercises three position on the number of illustrations and the proportion of the total number of illustrations,can be found,along with three sets of textbooks are different time stage,the body of the figure of a slight decline,the number of accounts for the number of problem sets figure than growing faster,figure the number of sample proportion also presents the increasing trend of small amplitude.The fifth part is the statistical analysis of illustration types in the field of "number and algebra" in primary school mathematics textbooks in the Republic of China.By dividing the illustrations into mathematical tool diagrams,life material diagrams and life scene diagrams for preliminary statistics,it is found that each type of illustration has a variety of presentation forms.In order to make the research results more accurate,it is further classified according to the preliminary statistical results.The results are as follows: the mathematical table,circle,square and regular graph in the mathematical tool graph are frequently used and involve a wide range of knowledge points.The selection of life pictures has certain period and sociality;In the life scene diagram,more attention is paid to the figure diagram and the animal diagram,focusing on "the understanding of the integer" and "the four rules of the integer" two units.The sixth part,research conclusion and enlightenment.Analysis during the period of the Republic of China through the whole elementary school mathematics textbooks "number and algebra" illustrations in the field of writing features,for the present elementary school mathematics textbook illustrations in the field of "number and algebra" writing puts forward the enlightenment: the writing of the illustrations should to strengthen the elementary school mathematics textbooks "number and algebra" in the domain knowledge of the basic structure,the number of illustrations and location distribution need to be able to assist students to master mathematics knowledge,selection of illustrations to combine mathematics curriculum standard materials requirements and elementary level of cognitive development.
