Golf is developing rapidly,but the lack of golf professionals restricts the healthy development of golf in China.As an important field for cultivating golf professionals,China's golf undergraduate education has been developed for more than 20 years.However,because the training mode of golf practitioners is incomplete,the quality and quantity of education for employees cannot fill the development needs of golf in China.How to fill the society's demand for golf management practitioners and improve the quality of the training of practitioners is an urgent problem to be solved in the undergraduate education of golf management in China.Compared with China,the US undergraduate course in golf management has been established early,and the training model for employees has gradually matured.It has a high recognition of the American employees training model in the golf field,especially the professional training of the American professional golf management project(PGM project).There are many advantages for us to learn.Therefore,through the comparative study of the training mode of the undergraduate training courses of Chinese and American golf undergraduates,the advanced experience of the PGM project in the training of employees in the United States is used to make up for the shortcomings in the construction of the undergraduate talent training model in China,and to promote the undergraduate course of golf management in China.It is of great practical significance to build a training model for employees and promote the reform and development of golf management education in China.This study will focus on the current status of the talent training model of the golf course undergraduate course,which is already established in China,and the selection of the current PGM project in the United States-University of Nebraska–Lincoln is a representative school,using literature data method,observation method,comparative analysis method,etc.to compare and analyze the training objectives,credit plan,curriculum,practice practice and guarantee conditions of the two schools.The interview method and the mathematical statistics method compare the training quality of the two schools,and summarize the characteristics and similarities and differences between the Chinese and American golf management talent training models.The research results show that the combination of the 2+2 education mode of the golf course of Beijing Sport University(BSU)and the school-enterprise joint education has the characteristics of diverse students and wide coverage of the subject,but there is a lack of professional features and the disconnection of the curriculum;the course content and the actual golf industry Inconsistent;heavy theory,light practice;backward teaching guarantees,etc.,ultimately lead to serious problems for graduates leaving the golf industry,the quality of employees can not adapt to the actual needs of the development of golf in China.The PGM project,represented by UNL,benefits from the unified management of its teaching by the American Golf Association(PGA),and at the same time,relying on the strong professionalism of colleges and universities to form a training model of ontology and golf management.They built a bridge between the golf field and colleges.Through this model,the practitioners of the training are effectively guaranteed to meet the actual needs of the industry development and improve the comprehensive strength of the students.This is of reference for optimizing the undergraduate education of golf management in China.Combined with the advanced experience of UNL's PGM project management personnel and the future development trend of golf in China,this paper puts forward suggestions and ideas for the future talent training mode of Beijing Golf Course.It is suggested that we should fully use the advantages of BSU's step-by-step training mode.The curriculum should be optimized,and the direction of training should be refined.We should provide more support for the training model of golf undergraduate education.At the same time,we should cooperate with more universities to establish a comprehensive training method for golf professionals education.These conclusions and suggestions have certain reference and reference significance for the optimization of the education mode of golf undergraduate practitioners in China.
