As the development of China’s economy, the rapid construction of a well-of society in an all-around way, the improvement of people’s living standard, and the change of people’s life style and consumption view, golf will be gradually played by more and more common people, and it becomes another Leisure Sport consumption hotspot after bowling and tennis and one of the industries deserving state’s prior supports after joining WTO.However, the shortage of talented people on golf industry becomes urgent and serious day by day. The cultivation of talents lies in education, but golf management education in colleges and universities is still in a infant stage in China as a important field in cultivating talents on golf management. Besides, courses education is one of the important projects on courses construction and also the base of realizing the cultivation aim. This article investigates and discusses thoroughly five representative universities through Literature material method, investigation method, questionnaire survey procedure, interview method. Simultaneously it contrasts the American PGM golf management education pattern and Britain’s national golf credentials educational pattern characteristic to study and analyze our insufficiency in curriculum. At last, from the talents training pattern, the adscription on golf subject and cultivation on golf culture, this article proposes some feasible suggestions in order to emphasize the practicality and pertinence on the golf management curriculum, and cultivate the golf talents of high education background and great ability which will be the guarantee for the healthy development of our country’s golf industry.
