Group Work Practice Of Promoting Community Participation Of Young Retirees

With greater development and scientific progress of society,the concept of“community”was gradually integrated into our daily life.Residents' sense of identity and participation in community that was determined the development process of community autonomy.The elderly group is the main force of community and the younger retirees were the prominent characteristics of this group.with remarkable characteristics,activing in mental and physical condition was relatively better.Accumulating through life and work,they have much more life experience and social experience.when they starting the retirement life after quitting the job,they can not adapt and reduce self-identity,lacking of willingness to participate in the community.H community in Erdao District of Changchun has two situations.Firstly,the aging of the population in the community is getting worse.Secondly,the participation willingness of the younger retirees in the community is low.Through home visits,The author distributed the questionnaire to the residents who have the intention.Through the analysis of the collected questionnaires,it is revealed that the routine arrangement of the young retirees in the community is simple after retirement.Most of the activities help their children take care of the family affairs,participated in recreational and sports activities.Only a few people will actively participate in the community activity.And their willingness to participate in the community was low.The author promotes the community participation of the young retirees through the group work,and using Maslow's hierarchy of needs theory,active aging theory and advantage perspective theory.To promote and enhance the willingness,ability of the younger retirees to participate in the community,giving play to their own advantages and realizing their personal value.And finally to propose a new development path for the exploration of active aging.Through a series of group work,we can help the group of young retirees fully realized their potential,to promote their awareness and ability of community participation.Forming a long-term mechanism for community participation of young retirees,motivate more elderly groups to participate in community participation effectively.
