| Parents are indispensable to children’s growth,and family education is an important part of the preschool education system.The degree of parents’ satisfaction with kindergarten teachers is directly related to the quality and effectiveness of the communication between teachers and parents in the cooperation of their homes.To see in the eyes of the kindergarten parents why "good teachers",this study choose academic degree different 12 parents as the research object,through the depth interview method to collect data,based on grounded theory analysis strategy,using Nvivo11 Plus qualitative analysis software,trying to concrete,present kindergarten parents views in depth the characteristics of "good teachers".It is found that the quality of "good teachers" in kindergartens from the perspective of parents mainly consists of four aspects: qualification matching,role matching,competence and caring characteristics.Qualification matching mainly includes teachers’ external qualification matching(such as gender,age,education background and appearance)and personal internal traits matching(such as sunshine,love to laugh,cheerful and positive).Role concept fit mainly refers to the role of guiding,supporting and escorting that teachers play.Competence mainly refers to teachers’ teaching ability,communication and feedback ability and self-efficacy perception.The caring characteristics are mainly reflected in the caring attitude(such as affinity,respect,tolerance and fairness)and caring behavior(such as love,responsibility,patience and carefulness).In addition,the study also found that the quality expectations of "good teachers" in kindergartens from the perspective of parents are different due to the educational level,gender and nature of kindergarten,as follows:First,in terms of qualification matching,parents of higher educational level have higher requirements for teachers’ educational level,while parents of lower educational level can do the same.Parents with higher education level think that the most ideal class teacher collocation is one male and one female,while parents with lower education level hope that teachers should be mainly female.Highly educated parents want teachers to be young,active and energetic.Parents with lower educational background havehigher requirements on the working experience of kindergarten teachers.Second,the role of the concept of fit,highly educated parents think teachers are the child’s escort and supporters;Lower education level parents think teachers are the guide,should let the child make fewer mistakes.Thirdly,in terms of competence and competence,highly educated parents pay more attention to teachers’ self-efficacy perception ability,followed by problem-solving ability and finally emotional control ability.However,parents with lower educational background think that teachers’ ability of communication and feedback is very important,and parents with higher educational background mention that they hope teachers can reflect the situation of children more objectively and truly,rather than hide it intentionally to please parents.Fourth,in terms of caring characteristics,parents of private kindergartens expect teachers to be more amiable and fair to each child,while parents of public kindergartens expect teachers to be more respectful and tolerant towards children.In terms of caring behavior,parents of private kindergartens expect teachers to be more responsible to their children,while parents of public kindergartens expect teachers to be patient and careful to their children instead of always being serious to them.Fifth,in terms of service awareness,parents of public kindergartens generally believe that kindergarten teachers have weak service awareness and treat their children too severely and harshly.Parents of private kindergartens think that teachers have a better attitude towards parents,patience towards children and strong sense of service.In view of this,this study draws the following enlightenment and Suggestions: first,for kindergarten teachers,it is conducive to effective communication and cooperation between teachers and parents.Kindergarten teachers should pay attention to the management of their own image and the promotion of qualifications,enhance self-efficacy perception and education service awareness;Secondly,for the parents of children,it is helpful to guide the change of the parents’ educational concept and help the parents to enhance the sense of cooperation with the kindergarten teachers.Thirdly,for kindergartens,it is beneficial to establish their own brand and enhance their social service ability.Finally,for normal universities,it is beneficial to provide practical enlightenment and improve preservice teacher training and curriculum setting. |
