"Ordinary High School Chemistry Curriculum Standards(2017 Edition)" clearly states that we should pay attention to the "literacy-based" teaching and develop the key competencies of chemistry.It is imminent to design the teaching objectives based on the key competencies of chemistry and select appropriate instructional design for "literacy".The thematic teaching can promote the application of teaching objectives in classroom teaching,and provide possibilities for knowledge construction and learning in interdisciplinary fields,while meeting the individualized and diverse learning and development needs of students.Therefore,combined with the existing teaching conditions and characteristics of students in county and district schools,thematic teaching is adopted to form an innovative design scheme of “literacy-based”,giving full play to the subjective status of students,thus fulfilling the requirements of developing students' key competencies.This paper firstly analyzes the research background and research significance of this topic by using literature analysis method,sorts out the research status at home and abroad,and interprets the core concepts,main features and design elements of literacy-based high school chemistry theme teaching.This paper studies the status quo of students' learning and development,and combines the research of multiple intelligence theory,constructivism theory and humanistic learning theory to analyze the feasibility and necessity of the thematic teaching.With the theme of “development and utilization of metal minerals” and “mutual transformation of chemical energy and thermal energy”,the five themes of the theme,activities,resources,problem situations and evaluation of high school chemistry theme design are aimed at teaching objectives,evaluation goals,Innovative instructional design in the teaching process.Then,in two parallel classes in a middle school in Shandong Province,the teaching practice is carried out.In the teaching process,multiple evaluation methods are adopted,mainly analyzing the interest and learning effect of middle school students' chemistry learning under the theme teaching mode.Finally,at the end of the semester,the student reflection record,the teacher's listening class record,and the after-school questionnaire survey results are formed,and the research results are obtained.The form of the thematic teaching improves the students' chemistry learning interest and class participation.Students can actively construct knowledge.Self-learning and active inquiry in the activity task embodies the "literacy-based" teaching concept.Students can contact other disciplines in chemistry class,which has the meaning of interdisciplinary learning in different disciplines and reflects the concept of discipline integration.
