Fear of falling refers to the decrease in self-efficacy or confidence in order to avoid falls during certain activities. The incidence of fear of falling is high among the elderly at home and abroad. There are different degrees of fear of falling in the elderly with or without history of falls. The elderly who have had a history of falls are even more so.The fear of falling of the elderly is often accompanied by psychological tension and avoidance behavior, forming psychological and physical invisible shackles, causing a vicious circle of behavior and life style in the long run.The fear of falling continues and even ferments in the spontaneous state of home-based care, which directly affects the quality of life of the elderly. The existing research pays more attention to the influence of environmental factors on the fear of falling of the elderly, and lacks sufficient understanding of the elderly's own perception of the environment. The theory of psychological field provides a dialectical perspective for analyzing problems, focusing on the impact of the environment on people and the perception of people's environment. The author takes the theory of psychological field as the guide, analyzing the cognitive structure and formation process of the fear of falling in the Y community in Wuhan, and analyzes the impact of the environment on the fall fear of the case, and intervenes from the quasi-physical environment improvement stage, the quasi-social environment improvement stage, and the quasi-conceptual environment reconstruction stage.By changing the environment, supplemented by the cognitive behavioral therapy confrontation technology, alleviating the fear of falling of the elderly and explores the applicability and practical logic of psychological field in practice. After evaluation, the fear of the falling of the victim has eased, especially in the assumptions and rules of the fear of falling. But it has not completely changed the psychology of the victim's fear of falling.Based on the qualitative study of the fear of falling in the elderly, this paperbelieves that:on the one hand, the fear of falling in the elderly is the negative signal of the release of the physical environment, the negative adaptation of the social environment, and the psychological fear of falling under the conceptual deviation of cognitive structure. As a result of behavior, the elderly have an automatic thinking of fear of falling, forming a negative cognitive model. Therefore,in the context of home-based care,it is necessary to strengthen the educational science of the elderly's psychological problems and fall prevention;on the other hand, the psychological field theory injects psychological factors into the role of the objective environment, providing an objective role in subjective Subjective perception and objective dialectical perspective can help social workers better understand and analyze the psychological world of the client, and in the practical logic, the social workers are first involved in the case environment, and then use the changed environment and the knowledge of the client.Confrontation, such practical logic is more operational. Therefore, the theory of psychological field has certain applicability in social work practice.
