Left-behind children are a large social group derived from the background of the Times. The problems of psychology, behavior, peer interaction, character shaping and other aspects of personal growth have aroused wide concern in academic circles. The healthy development of left-behind children is the focus of social attention, and the behavioral deviation is a prominent form of the problem, which is more urgent for the demonstration of academic research results. In the data collection, the author has found that social workers have some achievements in the behavior of left-behind children, but there is still a lot of space to explore in practice. This study is a case study on the complex behavior of a typical left-behind child in my hometown. With the role of professional social workers, the author uses cognitive behavioral therapy to intervene in the ecological system environment of this case, and helps the client to identify irrational beliefs and improve the current deviant behavior. The specific service process can be divided into three stages:First of all,the author collects the data of the case by using the interview and the participatory observation method, trying to understand the present situation and related causes of the perpetrators as much as possible, and to evaluate the needs of the main subjects: training self-discipline;strengthening parent-child communication;changing the client's irrational cognition.Secondly, based on the theory of cognitive behavior and the theory of advantage, the author designs specific service plan for the client. The activity intervention is divided into three levels: First,in the aspect of action, the author should mobilize the client to clean up,decorate rooms and painting activities in order to let the client realize the benefits of action change and open up his inner world.Second,in the aspect of emotion, the author would arouse the client?s desirer for family warmth through a series of activities such as “family album ”review,“letter to parent”and“grandparents' day”.It aims at opening the client and his family?s channel of communication and improving the client?s motive force of positive change.Thirdly,in the aspect of cognition, the author is supposed to enlighten the client?s self-cognition through the skills such as example study and advantages of bombing, encourage him to debate with existing unreasonable ideas, accept the self and discover his own potential as well. Finally, through a week of service follow up,training the active behavior of the client, forming a new life habit. It also evaluates the result of the case, summarizes the service effect and the conclusion. The intervention has been basically completed the goal of this case, and the client?s living conditions improved significantly. However, due to the obstacles of the real conditions, social workers' follow-up tracking service is difficult and the long-term service effect is weak.On the basis of summarizing the experience of analyzing activities, the author makes a reflection on the application of theories and solutions to the problems of left-behind children,so as to provide some references for subsequent researches.
