Individual Nostalgia Therapy Intervenes In The Loneliness Of The Elderly

With the acceleration of social transformation and the deepening of population aging,the elderly care issue has become an important issue in social services.Among them,the rural welfare homes are important institutions for old-age care,and the elderly in rural welfare homes are important groups within the hospitals.Problems and needs are of great concern,and the intervention of social work on these problems and needs can play an important role to some extent.This study is based on my participation in the "one hospital one social worker" project of the rural welfare home in Jiangxia,Wuhan city.After one year of service in the Z welfare home,I selected a service object in the welfare home to discuss the loneliness of the elderly in the rural welfare home with individual nostalgia therapy.The purpose of this study is to design an individual nostalgic service program intervention according to Eriksen's eight-stage theory of life.By guiding the elderly to recall the meaningful life and life experience in the first half of life,the present life confidence can be increased and happiness can be improved.In order to consolidate the effect of individual treatment,group nostalgia intervention program was added to form the working mode of "individual + group" combined treatment.At the same time,it evaluates and analyzes the intervention scheme,process,effect,role of workers,service skills,sustainability of intervention effect,and discusses the problems and applicability in the implementation process of each link.Through the feedback of the staff of rural welfare homes and the observation and evaluation of social workers,it is found that individual nostalgia therapy has some effect on the loneliness of the elderly in rural welfare homes.This study argues that: rural welfare home old man's loneliness comes from personal experience and the institution environment,by conducting individual nostalgic service,lonely old people in individual psychological depression,depression,interpersonal alienation have made a positive change,the respect such as the preliminary affirmed the nostalgic individual service,individual nostalgic therapy to alleviate rural welfare loneliness of the old man has a certain therapeutic effect,at the same time,I found a nostalgic therapy to alleviate rural welfare home old man loneliness problem has theapplicability and limitations,the service effect of sustainability,assessment services effect is worth further improve and perfect the measures.
