Entering the new era,the countries of the world have strengthened the international cooperation and exchange,which has brought about the increasingly fierce competition for talents.How the future students stand on the international stage,participate in the global cooperation and competition,and enhance the influence of the country,need to develop their global competence,which can not only adapt to the present era but also meet the challenges of the future.The development of education can not be separated from teachers,to cultivate students' global competence,we must first improve the teaching level of teachers' global competence.Therefore,this paper takes the global competence certificate program of American teachers as the research object,so as to explore and analyze the background of the development of global competence teacher education in the United States.This paper is divided into four parts.The first part reviews the development process of global competence education in the United States,and analyzes the theoretical background,policy background and social atmosphere of the global competence certificate program.The second part discusses the main contents of the global competence certificate program,expounds the connotation of global competence on the basis of existing concepts,expounds the training objectives of the global competence certificate program for teachers,and summarizes the specific global competence teacher education courses.The third part explores the main implementation path of the global competence certificate program and summarizes the experience of the implementation of the global competence certificate program for American teachers.The fourth part synthesizes the whole picture of the global competence certificate program and puts forward some Suggestions on the implementation of global competence education in China.The first is to carry out global competence teacher education,focusing on teaching guides.Second,set up the global competence classroom content,pay attention to the design of teaching activities;Third,create a global competence training environment,pay attention to external conditions support.
