A Study On The Current Status Of Sexual Education And Countermeasures Of Students In Secondary Vocational In Yuxi City

The research has been carried out under three stages.The first stage,the author used <Adolescent sexual mental health questionnaire> to investigate and interview students from several Secondary Vocational Schools.Then,the author interviewed their teachers,parents,school leaders,officials of Education Department.The second stage,Based on the materials and statistics from the questionnaires and interviews,the author used Excel and SPSS to further analysis the current status of sexual education in Secondary Vocational Schools in Yuxi from different aspect: grades,ages,nations,political status,etc.The third stage,search for the difficulty to carry out proper and effective sexual education,try to design effective serial programs related to sexual education.And last,I try to come up with countermeasures to improve the sexual education.The research has drawn the following conclusions:1.The sexual health of Secondary Vocational students is at a moderate level.However,knowledge and sense of worth are the two main weaknesses.2.The sexual health has apparent differences among Secondary Vocational students with different aspects,such as grades,ages,family residences,nations,whether class leader or not.3.It is necessary and urgent to carry out further sexual education among Secondary Vocational students,but there is a lack of suitable teaching materials,courses and teachers.4.The Program of sexual education activities for Secondary Vocational students designed by author has rich contents and appropriate scale.It can be used as reference for the development of sexual education courses.5.The development of sexual education of Secondary Vocational students needs the cooperation of schools,families and the whole society.
