Review is an essential method of teaching and review class is an important class type of school teaching activities,which is beneficial to reinforcing learned knowledge,discovering deficiencies in learning,in order to improve academic performance and achieve better results.Chemical review is an important measure to teach students to learn chemistry,understand chemistry,consolidate the knowledge of chemistry,and use it to solve chemical problems easily.Chemical review is not a simple repetition of the chemical knowledge learned,but a systematic organization,induction,synthesis,improvement and application of the chemical knowledge learned.Also it is not to repeat chemical content learned,but to develop and access to new knowledge so that students make a great progress in learning chemistry.Teacher can make students deepen understanding for chemistry knowledge,promote students' learning skill,and grasp the strategy and the method of solving the chemistry problem through chemical review.Therefore,chemical review is particularly important for the students who take part in the middle school academic level examination because a good result in the examination is based on the high quality of the chemistry review.Corresponding strategies have been presented on the basis of the careful research of the relative reports and analysis of examination papers of chemical academic level of junior middle school in Yunnan Province for years,combining with the actual situation of our students.These strategies include entries teaching method for review in time,list method and mind mapping method for unit review,and image method for special topic review.In order to change the previously traditional teaching mode of teacher-centered,we adopt above chemical review strategies to significantly arouse the enthusiasm of students' chemistry review,enhance the quality and efficiency of chemical review.Research results showed that our chemical review strategies have improved the chemical scores of students,helped students to form the systematical chemical knowledge network,enhanced the students' chemical thinking ability,and cultivatedstudents' interest in learning chemistry.
