Classroom teaching reform plays an important role in the new curriculum reform in China.In this research,the flipped classroom teaching mode is applied to the biology review for college entrance examination,taking the basic law of heredity in the compulsory 2 as an example,to optimize high school biology review teaching.After expounding the concept and connotation of the flipped classroom,and reviewing the previous researches of the flipped classroom,especially in high school biology class,the author constructs the flipped classroom teaching mode of high school biology review,based on which a teaching designation of biology review is made and practiced in Class 1 and Class 3 in Senior 3.The efficiency is measured in various ways,including interviews,classroom observation and experimental research.In the research,Class 3(56 students)is selected as experimental class,while Class 1(51 students)as the control class.The test scores of both classes are compared before and after the experiment,and the results are as follows: before the experiment,the gap between the two classes is small,while after the experiment,whether it is the total average score or the average score of genetic questions,the test scores of the experimental class are significantly higher than the control class,which can be seen from the results of significance test(P<0.05)and correlative test(r>0.01).Based on all of the results,the author comes into the conclusion that the flipped classroom teaching in the biological review class can effectively stimulate students' interest in learning biology,improve teaching efficiency,and optimize biology classroom teaching,and consequently enhance students' academic performance.What distinguish this mode from other flipped classrooms is that it allows students to review the key knowledge and key concepts independently before class,and make full use of the review materials before class to conduct self-assessment and find their own problems.In this way,the students are able to control more studying time freely and thus the principles of “three mains” and “three essentials and threenos”can be implemented in classroom teaching.This research can also greatly mobilize students' enthusiasm for reviewing biology,and make the mobile phone a useful learning tool for students instead of a bothering device.
