In nowadays society,visual impairment group is an uncommon and special group,especially the college students with visual impairment.Due to vision disability,they are easily affected by inferiority complex,and they are frequently bothered by normal social interaction.Meanwhile,because psychological development is hindered by the negative factors,the social support and recognition are often not in place.With various factors working together,their social interaction ability development is greatly restricted.Therefore,it is of vital importance to improve their social interaction ability and guide them to participate in social activities with the positive mindset,no matter for the students themselves,their family,the school or the whole society.The research topic of the paper directly focuses on this group of people-social interaction ability improvement of students with visual impairment at school of special education in an ordinary college.The paper attempts to study social interaction ability improvement of college students with visual impairment with individual case study methodology.On one hand,this will promote the development of the professional social support provided for the disabled,as well as improve the psychological quality of college students with visual impairment.On the other hand,it will help to enhance the working skills of special schools and the education.The principle of adhering to the actual condition is upheld to make the individual case study be utilized in realistic issues in a better and more accurate way.Through the combination of scale assessment in psychological filed and the individual case study methodology,the paper adjusts the psychological behaviors of college students with visual impairment,and gains profound understanding of the difficulties and challenges of visual impaired students.The research objective of the paper is firstly to understand the psychological condition of the visual impaired students and conduct analysis on it,and help them to preliminarily study the social interaction ability;Secondly,through analyzing the psychological health condition of the visual impaired students in college,the main influencing factors and impact are analyzed for their social interaction ability.At last,related theories and practices are utilized to deal with the actual problems of visual impaired students' social interaction ability.The psychotherapy works as the main method and musicotherapy works as the supplementary method,together with practical ability such as depth interview to help visual impaired students improve their social interaction ability.The paper has made up the research gap in social interaction ability improvement of college students with visual impairment,and laid the foundation for further study,which promotes the application popularity of individual case study in special schools,and posts intensive influence to the localization and professionalization of the social work in school.At last,the integration of theory and practice can help us better use the theory to guide the practice,improve our practical ability and enrich the theory in practice.
