Research On The Cultivation Of Social Morality Consciousness Of Contemporary College Students

Social morality is the conduct code that all citizens should follow in social communication and public life.It includes the relationship between people and people,human and society,human and nature.It is the basic level of the whole social moral system.Nowadays,public life extends to all fields,and people interact with each other more and more.Social morality plays an increasingly prominent role in safeguarding public interests,public order and social stability,and has become the embodiment of citizens moral accomplishment and social civilization.The social morality consciousness of college students is not only related to the improvement of their comprehensive quality,the construction of campus spiritual civilization,but also to the future and destiny of the country.Therefore,we must attach great importance to and pay close attention to the cultivation of college students' social morality consciousness,and we should vigorously advocate social ethics including civility,courtesy,helping others,caring for public property,protecting the environment and abiding by laws and regulations.Education today aims at cultivating qualified personnel for all-round development,which requires college students to have the most basic consciousness of social morality and consciously practice.College students are the pillars of social construction and play an important role in the future social development.Through the investigation of people's long-term practice and college Students' daily social behavior,we found that the main trend of social morality consciousness of contemporary college students is positive and healthy.However,there are also some phenomena such as the decline of moral standards,the lack of dedication,the indifference of public consciousness,the vagueness of legal concept and the lack of environmental protection concept,which to some extent damage the overall image of college students.Therefore,it is an important and difficult task to improve the social morality consciousness of contemporary college students.Based on the problems existing in the social morality consciousness of contemporary college students,this paper analyses the causes of the problems from the four aspects of students themselves,families,schools and society,and puts forward feasible countermeasures to cultivate the social morality consciousness of contemporary college students in light of the actual situation today,so as to help college students establish correct world outlook,outlook on life and values.
